the torturous wait for u guys is finally over... Vijay must be missing his scooty rite? 
I had a slight change of plans... i decided to go for a Red CBR since the dream honda guys didnt hv a clue on the next shipment of the Black CBR as i had originally booked...
Made the payment yesterday, & i would be getting the bike on Monday at 4pm. Feels like this is the most difficult time to pass.... can't wait till monday.
I would be carryng a printout of the checklist mentioned by Ajay, but if u guys think someting else also needs to be checked, please mention, i would make a note of the same.
Went into the godown yesterday n checked the red beauty... it was flawless with all bubblewrap packing etc.. checked the body thoroughly for scratches n panel gaps, but there were none...
Till now i never wished for a weekend to get over fast....
CBR has changed me...

What is the pre-delivery check list ? Can I get the link where it posted ?
Isn't the payment (rest of balance after booking amount) & delivery same day/time ?

Finally tomorrow am getting my cbr (time to shift over to the ownership thread:P)am crossing my fingures,i dont want rain while i take the delivery.Today i got the tefflon done on the bike.i am counting every minute and am planning to go to the showroom before it opens

Check for scratches/ scuffs.. these usually happen during transit/mishandling of bikes. Check engine oil level, brake fluid level. These are few.Originally posted by Neel08 View Post

Drove my CBR yesterday for around 80 kms (and in rain too). Didnt have backpain or wrist pain. Its easy to drive in the city as well.
But cleaning it is going to be a pain. There are areas which are very hard to reach. Took more than an hour to clean it.
The radiator has some dirt on it and its not going away. I tried to wipe it with a damp cloth and without putting too mch pressure, but the dirt didnt go. I hope it doesnt affect the functioning of the radiator. Is there some sort of cleaner available which can clean the radiator??
One more thing... the petrol tank looks different than that of other bikes (from inside). The hose's nozzle does not go inside completely and while filling the tank some petrol just splashes out. Has anyone else got this problem??Comment

You can fill 10 liters. This is what I did as soon as I got my bike. I used Shell Premium. Try to fill the bike when the last bar remains. Don't allow the bar to blink. Just for safety.
Scratches can't help. You will get used to it in a longer run. . It is dusty out there remember.
I am told to expect it by 15th June, but I dont think that can happen, but still, I hope I get it by 15th because i start work on 27th and I want it before that!!!
Will keep the blinking in mind And anyway we'll do our full PDI again after I get my bike with you all and the Bangalore CBR Riders :P
