    • Well, its not a breaking news anymore! Yes, I got my Red CBR today.
Thanks a lot for your wishes guys. Finally the wait has paid off. And it was definitely worth it.

I took the delivery of my bike around 12 in the noon. Few of my close friends accompanied me to the showroom and were with me for what I can call as one of the most important moment in my life in the recent times. So a big thanks to all of them. xxbomb(Girish) and motor-psycle(Praveen) were also there when I took the delivery. Thanks guys for taking time and being there for the delivery. Really happy for have such nice friends.
After the delivery of my bike, I just went for a small ride-cum-photoshoot. So wasn't online the whole day. Did around 70 kms today. I was on top of the world with CBR under my legs! It's an amazing machine. Loving every part of it. As I'm in the run-in period, I'm taking some cautions right now. Riding it slow is very difficult. It accelerate pretty quick. But the best part is I can ride comfortable at 70s below 5k. So it isn't that boring.

xxbomb took my bike for a small test ride and he felt knocking below 2k RPM. I was probably very happy to get the bike and still have not felt anything like that. On the edge of the front mudguard, the paint was slightly chipped off, which happened in transit i guess. Showroom guy said he would either replace that mudguard with another bike's mudguard when the next lot comes. And he would repaint mine and fix it in that one. I said, I'll get mine repainted from them. That isn't a big issue for me. While riding, there was a very slight vibration near my thighs. Hope it won't be a big problem. Other than these things, everything is fine. I felt the finishing on the clip-ons were better than those on the ones I test rode. The engine was not getting heated up much. Though my ride was outside the city most of the time. I only felt a bit warm when I stopped at a signal in the city when returning back. Nothing more to write about it as everyone knows how the bike handles and performs.

I'll post the pics in the Ownership thread as soon as I get it.
Thanks again for your wishes and Congratulations to all who've got their bikes delivered.

btw does xbhp have a picture thread for owner's bike or do i have to hunt down owners and peek into their garage?
Thing is ive finally made up my mind to book mine this week but the problem is im torn between the Red and the Black and the showroom here is being renewed so idk where theyve moved the display bikes cos its not here anymore
IF someone would direct me to HQ pics(not cellphone) with good resolution of Black and Red Cbrs from many angles it would be very helpful

                  Thanks

The earlier RC books, like our passports, had details of every sale of the bike. They contained details of every owner in separate pages sequentially in the order of ownership. Currently, RTO is issueing smart cards and I guess at any time a card will show the detauils of a current owner printed on it. But may be the previous ownership details are electronically recorded in it. Just a guess this is.

I would say pictures will not help you as much as the actual bikes. They really differ in reality from pictures how different colours impress you.
