    Thanks Guys!
Neil, there are many other enthusiasts who are desperately waiting for their CBR from day one. I'm just one among them. Many doesn't speak here. For me, this thread has helped a lot during the waiting period. I keep visiting this thread 4-5 times in an hour. I felt jealous when others got their bikes and I was still waiting, but at the same time I was happy that atleast their wait has paid off and my number will also come very soon.
I really feel for those who are still waiting, especially for those who have booked in the first week of Jan. Hope they all get their CBR soon.

    @motor-psycle - Congratulations!!!

The bike is very smooth, clutch very light and is not difficult to drive in traffic, provided you dont upshift too much. The gearshift is butter smooth and I didnt realize that I had shifted to 6th till I stopped at a signal and the bike stopped when I tried to move again. I could do 50 in 5th without any jerks. Sounds like an overgrown karizma/FZ (not as bad as some people said it is). The horn is very feeble. I did not fix the saree guard while taking delivery. It is a headturner and a lot of people were looking at it when I was driving back home. Park it anywhere and people have the habit of fiddling around with it. So, guys in bangalore, take it only to places where you have a secure parking or if you are going to be with the bike all the time.

The dealer asked me to keep it between 4k and 5k rpm during the running in. The paint gets scratched very easily and since I didnt get a tankpad I noticed some light scratches on the tank. Reached home and gave the tank 3 layers of wax to avoid any further scratches. So, anyone getting the CBR, a tankpad is on the 'must buy' list.

Will post some pics and a review once I cover some more kms.
Congrats first of all. Vijay, rode the bike in that heavy rain???!! In our part, it was ice rain for few minutes!!!!

      • Wait pays...

        All,

        I have been CBR'izzeeeddd.

Took the delivery on 30th May. I went along with my daughter and my wife joined me later as she had to come from her office.
Daughter and wife were all excited to see the bike just like me .

Took the bike from the showroom around 5.00 pm, went to Shell petrol bunk filled her up with 10 liters of Premium petrol and went to my parents house in Rajarajeshwarinagar to show them the bike. They were very happy. My 86 year old grandma was super excited (BTW we both watch Moto GP together ). She and my parents blessed the bike and me.

It rained heavily but I didn't allow the rain to ruin my day. I just rode my CBR in rain and I like riding in rain. I enjoy it.
(P.S. Ajaz gave me a free water wash today as the bike got dirty due to the rain yesterday. )

About the bike, I have completed around 60kms. One thing for sure is this bike is smooth. Handling is awesome (BTW I used to ride a FZ earlier). I beg to differ from the people who say this bike is not AGILE. Please ride it. This is my only suggestion.
This bike handles the Bengalooru traffic very well. (I rode in the Mysore road traffic where the Metro work is going on. Imagine the traffic there).

I rode the bike within 4-5k RPM and the bike does well in all the gears. I didn't feel any jerks when I shifted from 5th to 6th at the speed of 50-52 kmph. It is smooth. The gear shift and the clutch is butter smooth and will be much more smoother after I complete my run-in period.

I am riding the STD version believe me the brakes are AWESOME. (in wet conditions too).

The lighting of the bike is mind blowing. The console when it glows with the blue back ground is a treat to watch.
I feel the size of the display provided is Good. All the figures were very clear during day as well as night. (Even in rain )

I pasted the tank pad myself and it looks cool. I covered my bike with a Old cover to avoid those Nasty kids who play near the parking area.

All I can say is I am enjoying. I shall give a detailed review of the bike once I complete 250 kms.

I shall upload the photos ASAP.

Took the bike from the showroom around 5.00 pm, went to Shell petrol bunk filled her up with 10 liters of Premium petrol and went to my parents house in Rajarajeshwarinagar to show them the bike. ...

(P.S. Ajaz gave me a free water wash today as the bike got dirty due to the rain yesterday. )
Bhai.. call to kar dete when u came to rajarajeshwari nagar.. I stay there.

If I had known about this free water wash thingy.. I would also have driven in rain Ajaz told me not to fill the tank to the brim as it might lead to air block.

I personally felt that the odometer display is small. Rest of the things are fine.
