Honda CBR250R Launched in India at 1.43 ex showroom Delhi

    Hmm I am pretty much sad, booking on 5th May and he is with his bike and me, booked on 17th Feb, has no clue whatsoever!!!!!
    Many who booked in Jan also dont have a clue about the delivery!!!

    Darnit Honda!!!

    Why is this happening?
    They say new plant launch preponed by 2 months, so I guess this is solely out of the pressure of consumers!!!
    Not only CBR but Unicorn and Activa as well!!!
    I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

      A true incident! I was on vacation and was having a good noon sleep yesterday, In my dream i took the delivery of my CBR and was heading to my town under the hot sun and dusty roads i was enjoying the ride, suddenly and Finally got an unexpected call from my dealer! Asking me to make the payment! I pinched my self if it is true or still a dream.
      I agreed to wire transfer the amount by monday as am not living near the showroom. Now i am running to collect my money stuck here and there . I'll get mine probably by wednesday or friday next week .

        I had been to my showroom (Sapphire Honda) to ask if I should pay today. But the guy said the bikes are still in the godown outside the city and it has not come to them yet. Its lying there from 2 days there. Now he says that it might come tonight only. He had shown me the transit details and there are 3 CBRs in it. The list has the model number, chasis number etc. And infront of the Red Std., my booking ID is written. So I'm pretty sure that I'll get it when it comes. So now he says that Monday he'll call me and ask me to do the payment, and I can get the bike by Wednesday.
        They seems to be testing my patience. Bring it on! If I can wait for around 5 months after booking, I can wait for few more days too. (but still this wait hurts )

            Yes, I too thought so. But I guess they don't have any bike with them right now for delivery. Not even a display bike. They just have the Test Ride bike.
            The Transit Details sheet I saw had 3 bikes. 1 Red ABS, 1 Black ABS and 1 Red Std.
            What have they communicated to you??

              Nothing much he had asked me to pay last Wednesday and i have been calling them everyday and he keeps saying he will get the bike the next day. When i called today he said he will get it on Monday.

                  Hi Sid,

                  you can try Rajinder honda and Race honda in east delhi.
                  there is no harm in booking with multiple dealers.

                    Honda dealers are just illitrate and dumb, they even don't know how to do PDI of CBR

                      Sword Silver coloured being the least booked, so it would have an exclusivity but then would it also cause concern as the silver parts would not be available that much or for that matter we wont get it at all as I still did not find grey colour rear panels for my Unicorn 04 model.
                      Is this also a global colour? Is it a matter of concern?

                        It is a global color but in USA they dont give silver

                            Update on my booking

                            Guys,

                            I got a call from Silicon Honda RV road on Saturday by Ajaz. He said my bike has arrived but has a scratch on the visor . It happened in transit. One of the show room boy took me to the warehouse . I saw the bike there. The scratch was deep on the visor, but I spoke to Ajaz and he said he will replace that visor.
                            I checked the bike for any other defects and found none. I spoke to Ajaz and told this bike is OK for me. I made the payment on the same day (65% cash & 35% cheque).

                            All the formalities done. He said he will be delivering the bike by late Monday or Early Tuesday.

                            P.S.: I also received my tank pad.Thanks Planet DSG.

                              Yesterday I went to my nearest Honda dealer to take a test ride of CBR250 & this is what the manager told me,"Sir Cbr expensive bike hai isliye test drive chodiye company ne humein display piece bhi nahin diya hai. Aur uppar se ek bhi booking abhi tak nahin hua hai. Agar aap book kartein hai toh hum mangwa denge lekin servicing aapko Guwahati ja kar karwana padega". Unfortunately we have only 1 Honda dealer in town
