                Cool. Did just that.
Here are some stats to munch on.
                Overall - 153 bookings reported
                Cancelled - 6
                Delivered - 42 CONGRATULATIONS
Bangalore with the highest bookings reported on XBHP. Probably an indicator of activity level of the city here.
List of cities with at least 5 booking reported

                City Delivered Waiting
                Bangalore 11 27
                Mumbai/Thane/Navi Mumbai 7 19
                Chennai 1 9
                Hyderabad 2 7
                Pune 3 4
                Delhi 4 2
                Cochin 4 1
                Kolkata 1 4

Probably not fair to NCR as didn't club all of them together.
Of them all Cochin rocks with only 1 waiting and 4 delivered.
I hope I get my bike soon or I'll do more such mindless stuff

                    I have been CBR'izzeeeddd.

Took the delivery on 30th May. I went along with my daughter and my wife joined me later as she had to come from her office.
Daughter and wife were all excited to see the bike just like me .

Took the bike from the showroom around 5.00 pm, went to Shell petrol bunk filled her up with 10 liters of Premium petrol and went to my parents house in Rajarajeshwarinagar to show them the bike. They were very happy. My 86 year old grandma was super excited (BTW we both watch Moto GP together ). She and my parents blessed the bike and me.

It rained heavily but I didn't allow the rain to ruin my day. I just rode my CBR in rain and I like riding in rain. I enjoy it.
(P.S. Ajaz gave me a free water wash today as the bike got dirty due to the rain yesterday. )

About the bike, I have completed around 60kms. One thing for sure is this bike is smooth. Handling is awesome (BTW I used to ride a FZ earlier). I beg to differ from the people who say this bike is not AGILE. Please ride it. This is my only suggestion.
This bike handles the Bengalooru traffic very well. (I rode in the Mysore road traffic where the Metro work is going on. Imagine the traffic there).

I rode the bike within 4-5k RPM and the bike does well in all the gears. I didn't feel any jerks when I shifted from 5th to 6th at the speed of 50-52 kmph. It is smooth. The gear shift and the clutch is butter smooth and will be much more smoother after I complete my run-in period.

I am riding the STD version believe me the brakes are AWESOME. (in wet conditions too).

The lighting of the bike is mind blowing. The console when it glows with the blue back ground is a treat to watch.
I feel the size of the display provided is Good. All the figures were very clear during day as well as night. (Even in rain )

I pasted the tank pad myself and it looks cool. I covered my bike with a Old cover to avoid those Nasty kids who play near the parking area.

All I can say is I am enjoying. I shall give a detailed review of the bike once I complete 250 kms.

I shall upload the photos ASAP.

Thanks a lot for your wishes guys. Finally the wait has paid off. And it was definitely worth it.

I took the delivery of my bike around 12 in the noon. Few of my close friends accompanied me to the showroom and were with me for what I can call as one of the most important moment in my life in the recent times. So a big thanks to all of them. xxbomb(Girish) and motor-psycle(Praveen) were also there when I took the delivery. Thanks guys for taking time and being there for the delivery. Really happy for have such nice friends.
After the delivery of my bike, I just went for a small ride-cum-photoshoot. So wasn't online the whole day. Did around 70 kms today. I was on top of the world with CBR under my legs! It's an amazing machine. Loving every part of it. As I'm in the run-in period, I'm taking some cautions right now. Riding it slow is very difficult. It accelerate pretty quick. But the best part is I can ride comfortable at 70s below 5k. So it isn't that boring.

xxbomb took my bike for a small test ride and he felt knocking below 2k RPM. I was probably very happy to get the bike and still have not felt anything like that. On the edge of the front mudguard, the paint was slightly chipped off, which happened in transit i guess. Showroom guy said he would either replace that mudguard with another bike's mudguard when the next lot comes. And he would repaint mine and fix it in that one. I said, I'll get mine repainted from them. That isn't a big issue for me. While riding, there was a very slight vibration near my thighs. Hope it won't be a big problem. Other than these things, everything is fine. I felt the finishing on the clip-ons were better than those on the ones I test rode. The engine was not getting heated up much. Though my ride was outside the city most of the time. I only felt a bit warm when I stopped at a signal in the city when returning back. Nothing more to write about it as everyone knows how the bike handles and performs.

I'll post the pics in the Ownership thread as soon as I get it.
Thanks again for your wishes and Congratulations to all who've got their bikes delivered.

Congrats Vijay sir and Sudeep!!! Although many congratulation have already poured in on our facebook bangalore club :P

So basically one should worry about the panels, scratching, fuel indicator and heating up of the engine yes?
But from what i followed i think everyone said that after 100-120km the heating subsides.
Also, should i not get the tank full? I was thinking of topping it up for the first two three times...

Thanks Achin . BTW when are you getting your bike? Any updates on that.

You can fill 10 liters. This is what I did as soon as I got my bike. I used Shell Premium. Try to fill the bike when the last bar remains. Don't allow the bar to blink. Just for safety.

Scratches can't help. You will get used to it in a longer run. . It is dusty out there remember.

When I got the bike from showroom, they said there is 4 ltrs of petrol in the tank already. So I went and filled Xtra Premium for 500 bucks, which was ~ 6.72 ltrs. And became almost full tank. I guess when they gave me, there was more than 4 ltrs in it.
I don't think there is any harm in filling full tank. Just that it should not be upto the brim. There is a level marked below that.
