Yes he did complete his 1000KMs in like a day after the delivery, so build issues if any would have shown! Google around for the review....

The issues are not with build quality Satyen. The issues are with finishing. The expectations on finishing have raised significantly in the last 2-3 years in India. It is just that some parts look crude on CBR. For example, after seeing the clip-ons on ZMR with superb finishing, the clip-ons on CBR appear less-finished. Same case with the rear foot pegs and the assembly.

Yeah finishing I agree, infact this feedback was shared long back as well. Jst amused with the 'quality' issue though which people complained of peeling paint, and oil leakage etc.... almost funny!

But it was just on the right palm.. So would chech for alingnment tommorow..more impressions tommorow as i would be spendind my whole day with and for it tomorrow..

delivery to start in TN soon!!

spoke to manager in madurai just now! he confirmed the RTO requirements for the CBR is done and the deliveries will start two days from now!

he also confirmed that there r some issues with the first batch, but honda ppl r rectifying them!

Did you not try the FZ16 hugger? One blok here has posted it in XBHP, on how to put the FZ hugger on Ninja. At that time, CBR was not released. Your relative is coming from US right, doesn't TYGA make the rear hugger for CBR in carbon fibre? Do they have the same for Ninja?

Well, every one asks me to buy the nano rather than this bike. I dont comment back. I know they will say, great bike, when they see it in flesh. Till then I remain silent, the last laugh I know will be mine.

I already have the FZ hugger on my ninja. Was just curious to see if the CBR one fits the ninja.

There are plenty of options for the ninja in the US. Huggers are also available from Sportisi, etc. in CF.

Hi,
I went to C.R. Scooters , Vadodara for enquiring about the test ride. Still they say they are not allowed permission from company for the test ride and the vehicles they have they are delivering to first 4 customers on 12-May-2011 in a small ceremony. So as of now no test vehicle available. It may take upto a month for that. Haven't enquired with other dealers yet. Apple honda was telling on 10th they are starting it. Will confirm and re-post here. I saw the bike again in flesh today. This time the black color non-ABS. The wind-shield plastic was not very good and the one that's above the tail light literally felt very cheap. The welding joints were visible but weren't looking that bad. From the fairing on side the radiator and other things were visible. Saree guard though awkward designed wasn't looking that bad either. But what I noticed was the there were uneven spaces here and there where fairing touches the body. I mean it was not tight packed. I haven't looked any other full faired bike in such details. But I think the space shall not be there. Can the owners shed some light on this ?
