+100 to that. I stopped following this thread daily atleast until i get my bike. I have to say i feel bit relaxed now compared to 2 weeks before, every hour i was checking i would see +Vs, -Vs, delaying news etc etc which kept always my mind restless. I could not think out of this. Now i have relaxed my self, see you guys after i get my bike. Lets discuss then. until then bye.Originally posted by pulsar_flame View PostExplore the unexplored!

Hehehe, I should say thanks to you, for coming there and being there during payment time. Guess girls will never understand guys drooling over a parked mini-superbike.Originally posted by sudeepnbr View PostWoah!!! Awesomeness!!!

I'm very happy for you. Congratulations bro!
and ya... Good Luck...

I test rode it two days ago. I ride a P150. Compared to that, this baby blew me away. Really its a beast waiting to be owned and tamed. All the best for yours too.Originally posted by pravu View PostInspect the bike properly and test drive it before you put your official ownership seal on it. All the best and am kind of envious as well.

Hey no probs buddy. I was waiting for this from last July when I was discussing with a set of bikers about prospective 250 launch in Thailand by Honda. And finally the wait is taking shape. I am sure the wait is worth it.Originally posted by hahahari View PostGood luck aliyo!
Should have booked from Kerala too, lol. I had the choice to book from Blore, Chennai and Palakkad. Chose Chennai. THE worst place. sigh. A wait time of 7 months for me.
Thanks broOriginally posted by uppunu View PostAll the best bro
Congo.Originally posted by gautamsankar View PostGot my bike delivered Today..
I dont have much time to make a decent length write up, right now..
This is my 10th bike in d past 10yrs.. ma last 3 bikes being ZMR, p180 and CBZ-Xtreme.. Have driven all bikes upto 250cc..
And to all those who have booked and the prospective buyers, i can tell u this is definitely worth the money and definitely a worthy upgrade from ZMR, 220 and R15..
As far as im concerned, the difference is there to be seen..
Dont go by the people who say here that it lacks punch or power or whatever..
And i find it quite ridiculous that its being compared to R15 and even p220..
R15 is great in its own respect but this is a step abov..
And even in the reviews its clear to be seen that its 4 secs quicker than R15 from 0-100.. and just a second slower than Ninja..!! (in both indian and US reviews)..Also most reviews say it handles better than Ninja.. the main thing is that Ninja is very exhilarating at the higher revs.. And CBR cant match it.. But come on, dont compare it with p220s and R15s...
The main thing is that it doesnt FEEL quick, tho it is really quick..
I haven crossed 80kph.. and haven taken it beyond 5k rpm... The Midrange Packs a mighty clean punch..!!
K thats it for now.. and al the prospective buyers, dont feel let down at all by the limited test drive reviews over here...
The bike is well worth the wait..
OT - Mine was one of the first deliveries in Kerala, and on my way back, a TVS RTR180 guy crashed (@ around 20kph) to the back of a Transport bus while staring at ma bike.!!
I was really happy..
(Tho i felt sad for him..)
For the Apache guy, well all I can say it, "The WAIT WAS WORTH IT" right?
Now go gear up and ride to some Vimala Convent college or pass by that area. See how many buses will stop

About the payment thing, well I could have got the bike by this Saturday, had I given full cash. But I decided to go by cheque, and hence the delay. I will be getting the bike on Tuesday by the latest. I just thought cheque was a safer option. Saphire Honda is ready with 5 bike delivery, if all of them pay cash(4 excluding me) they will get it by Saturday. I alone will get it by Tuesday. But no probs, waited a long time, another week, which is turning out to be the longest
, will finally pass.
Expect a funny ownership review as always.

Why don't you go to Sapphire and get a TD? They're giving to everyone who have a valid driving license, no matter they have booked there or not.Originally posted by vijaydutt View PostI am waiting for a test drive from Silicon still..they postponed it to Friday but even this is not sure. Congrats again on your AGV. Mine too is in the cover and kept inside. Won't take out until I get my bike.

Update Test Ride Bengalooru - Silicon Honda
Called up Mohseen. The test rides starts from Saturday.
Test rides will be in RV road silicon Honda.
As my booking number is 10, they shall call me for the payment only this month end.
I am disappointed. I think I shall be getting my bike only in the month of June. That means my waiting period has crossed more than 5 months.
What a shame to HSMI for making their customers wait...

If Honda is trying to delay at this rate, I am sure they are going to loose their customers because Yamaha will be launching their 250's as well. I am sure they will be planned and target the Honda customers.Yamaha Enticer: 2003 - SOLD

R15s a 150cc machine with a delta box frame. It should rather be compared to the CBZ, Hunk et al. Cant understand even after 600+ posts people keep comparing it to the 150s.Originally posted by darkknight View Postundoubtedly --just rode a friends one--
r15 is more flickable & is & feels light --no competition to manoeuvrability

Found this info on another forum:Originally posted by xionite View Postcan someone tell me... how many teeth does the rear sprocket have??
The cbr250rr's stock sprocket setup consists of a 52 tooth rear sprocket and a 17 tooth front sprocket. From memory the chain is 136 link, however im not sure of the pitch. This is the regular setup any stock cbr250rr will come with.

The BSM review says that it gives 45kmpl on the highway and 39 in the city.
I thought it was 25-28 kmpl in the city and around 32-35 on the highways. Anyone who has got the bike has tried to calculate the avg???? I know since the bike is new, everyone would be more interested in riding it than calculating the avg.. but still...
EDIT: congratulations to everyone who got it... the first few lucky ones in India to get a hand on the beauty..
For us in bangalore... The wait continuesLast edited by motor-psycle; 05-12-2011, 01:57 PM.
