But with CBR, all those accessories are included. So its not optional.
This is a new thing from Honda.

Are you sure mate ? BTW how much does the saree guard , front and back number plates cost ? If your information is true I would rip all these and add the embosed number plate's !

Hi xbhpians,

sudeep here and this is my first post. I have been following this thread for a while now.

Finally took delivery of my red non abs cbr today. I had booked it on 3rd jan from muthoot honda, cochin. Deliveries had started here yesterday after a small launch function. A total of 8 bikes at this showroom till now from what i could understand, with majority being black. Cost me approx 1.58lacs on road.

Getting the horrid looking saree guard off was the first thing I did before taking delivery :-). Very pleased with the bike after the first short ride. I feel this is a total value for money bike and is definitely a class above all the 'sub ninja' indian bikes. Purely my opinion. I did not find any quality issues as reported in some earlier posts.

Although I do feel that the exhaust note is not really pleasing riding at 3-5k rpm. Will explore other rpm ranges after riding her for a while.

I am planning to take the bike to chennai soon cos thats where I work.

I guess I should be heading to the cbr ownership thread to post more!

well ask the mechanic has he adjust your clutch as when i drove the bike in the 3 gear the bike stopped then when i informed the dealer he got it checked then the company has stopped making it but know all the issues have been cleared and the bike are in process of making u can verify this from the dealer there.

well for the company to call back they r not doing this rather they have informed there dealers to call the bike for a general inspection where they will do some clutch adjustment and hand the bike to there customers.

you mean to say, you took a test ride.. The bike stopped in 3rd gear (or some problem with the 3rd gear) and on informing the dealer, the production of CBR was stopped??

does any company do that for such a problem in one bike..??
I have been riding my cbr 300 kms, in all the gears, and there is absolutely no problem.. Neither is there any such problem in the CBRs from people i know..
I would suggest, for any such info, please provide a proper proof or a source.. The bike is amazing.. No doubt with it.. Please dont spoil its reputation..
Clutch setting is a different thing.. Its not a problem it the bike or its manufacturing.. Clutch setting needs to be done or checked in PDI.. And most PDI guys arent well educated about it.. Thats it..

let me correct here please sorry for pis writing in excitement i did not mean the company stopped well the thing was when i informed him he also took a ride on her so he must have informed the company when they checked then they stopped making new products until they were satisfied that the problem is cure know they have started remaking the bike and also informed every dealer in india to fix the clutch setting and then give the bike to the customers.

there is always a problem with honda when they take out new bikes same thing happens with honda unicorn there back portion used to brake then they took out some jugad vidya then with dazzler they fixed it then with stunner they again fixed the first batch so i mean to say when the first batch comes they see the problem then they rectify it and in the second lot the bike is cool and u r also smiling.

Oh by the way when did u take the delivery of the bike. Congrats ask the mechanic did he adjusted your clutch setting before giving u the bike. As for the proof I wish I had my camera then I would have given proof to all the members here.

i took the delivery 4days back.. On monday.. Yes the clutch setting wasnt proper at first.. And so the bike knocked in low rpms.. but after adjusting the clutch it was all gone.. But that cant be termed as a problem.. When i got the delivery, there was no one who knew about the cbr and so they dint even do a PDI.. But then i met the service incharge who was trained for CBR.. He was not there at the time the bike was delivered and so no PDI was done.. He solved all my queries and cleared all my doubts regarding the CBR..
