Watching so many people get delivery of their bikes, i'm getting plain jealous! :-|
My dealer told me that my bike has been dispatched from the plant. Will take ~7 more days to reach Pune.. Once that is done, i'll get delivery in a couple of days.. Since i've already taken care of the payment..

The wait makes days feel like weeks! damn the relativity Mr. Einstein! :P

first of all congrats to those who have bought the bike and also to those who r going to buy it in this month.

guys give some report who r riding it i mean who have already got the deliveries everything has become so silent in here.

hey when have u booked, I spoke to a guy in om sai malad he told me i will get it by end of july. i HAVE BOOKED on 2nd march

Got my black beauty yesterday

This is my first post after a relentless reading of all the 600+ pages.
Thanks to all the discussion that is going on here for keeping me occupied during all these days of waiting.

I had booked it on 1st of Jan from Silicon Honda RV Road, and got the bike yesterday (Black Std) thanks to guys above me in the booking queue for opting the ABS version because of which I got the bike early

.

As far as the bike goes, it is just awesome and worth all the waiting time.
First Impression... same as what some of the owners have shared it like clip-ons etc, no probs so far, but the engine needs a bit of more running-in as usual.
Only thing that I see as unsettling, is the puny stand on which the CBR rests

I booked from Jhaveri Honda (Kurla) on 17th Feb. The guy told me June End

That's a really nice color gray it happens to be my fav. Well ride safe buddy good to see the baby Cbr amazing well she is a good bike but I can see in some posts people have some issue with the clutch. Do u also feel something change in your machine from 1st to 2nd

I don't find any issue with the clutch or gearbox, but I feel like there is more than usual noise from the clutch, while decelarating
And, I also noticed that the noise is more profound when I'm wearing the helmet

But no issues with performance, pickup

So effectively, only 8 ltrs of petrol can be used at a time. Details about honda's extended warranty were not known at the time of taking delivery. The showroom guy said that he will provide the details later.

EDIT: The showroom people told us that availability of spares would not pose a problem and the honda mechanics who are going to service the CBR are trained properly.

Thanks a lot guys. I will be making it for wayanad ride. As of now, I was advised not to ride for more than 30-45 mins for the break in. Also the fact that engine heats up a lot during initial run-in doesnt allow me to ride for longer periods...
