No other dealer in Bangalore has done something like this yet.

                    • Hi Ceeber, didn't know you were a member here. I was the guy dressed in full boots and gloves

The bike is totally worth the wait, although the wait was seriously agonizing
But the bonus part is the VIP treatment we got at Haiku, was a real nice experience. Apart from the warm welcome, endearing ceremony, I was called up later to find out about my experience with the bike. And of course, the free jacket

Took the bike for a spin late at night on the airport rd, and man, the bike just flies!!!!
My friend on his R15 had some keeping up to do, because of the way this baby picks up speed, in any gear, any rpm. And the bike tracks any line very well, and the suspension is very well suited for broken roads, and will be a true tourer for Indian roads

I'll put up an ownership report asap, with pics

BTW, Haiku didn't even bother to fit the gate, ahem, saree guard. Good riddance I would say
Also, removed the front no. plate holder, and got the perfunctory puja done

Itching for a ride, asap. Hope to meet more CBR owners from Bangalore

Damn it ! Mine was the 7th booking !

Congos on the delivery ! I heard in the first batch the panels were scratched on delivery and they replaced them with new ones and hence the delay. There was only one ABS delivered right ?

In Bangalore you cannot pay Road Tax on yearly basis. It's always Life Time Road Tax. Either delay your purchase, or if you already know where you're going to relocate, book a bike there.
Sounds logical, I'll think about it...
But "Dillogicaly" I can't wait another 4-5 months, I am already waiting from past 5 months .... I'll rather take delivery in Bangalore and re-register in new state (in case) when ever I move...(Dil to Baccha Hai Ji!!!)

Meanwile, till what Booking no. Saphire Honda has delivered the bikes, Mine 21/20, when ever I call, they say they will inform me once the bike is dispatched..

Still, anyone from Bangalore who booked from Pondy, Please come to rescue me
