As Ajay has confirmed the xena will fit the CBR too. The XX-6 fits perfectly and so would the bigger ones.Originally posted by crazy_NJ View Post
Just ensure that the bike is not ridden constantly at one rpm. Vary the rpm's. If the manual states to not exceed a particular rpm, say 4k rpm, vary the rpm's between 3k and 4k rpm constantly. Occasionally, once or twice every 50 kms wring the throttle and hit a high band on the revv counter. The trick is to keep the engine cool so stop for a 15 min break every 50 kms of highway riding and more often in the city. City riding would result in realistic break in as engine rpm will be varied constantly. Plus your brakes and tires will also break in well.Originally posted by Binoy View PostATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!

Got a call from my dealer Dream Honda, Whitefield, Bangalore that my bike has arrived
I thought the bike will be delivered sometime in June, but the dealer said mine was a unique choice (non-ABS, Red colour), hence the bike is ready. I had booked the bike on 16th March and was the 10th booking
Am in 2 minds now, to buy or not. I did take a test ride, however it was a short ride, could not access much about the bike. I thought of waiting till people get the bike and we get some genuine ownership reviews and some comparisons from the tests (by popular magazines).
What should I do buy now or wait to get proper reviews? Thinking about going to the dealership tomorrow and requesting for a long test ride before I make the payment.
PS: I am currently riding a 3.5yr old 30k kms done P220 Fi. Am not sure if the CBR is a worthy upgrade, comments welcome.Chetan

^^ if you are still unsure take another test ride or wait it out.
The dealer has to provide a test ride (no rule that you can take it only once). He's not doing you a favor so ride it again and for a longer distance. Explain to him the reason behind it and i am sure he will see that you are serious and not just having fun/wasting his time.Last edited by n_aditya; 05-18-2011, 07:50 PM.ATGATT - Because hospital ceilings are boring !!!

Thanks Ajay..Originally posted by ajaymanohar View PostIts a perfect fit for Ninja and CBR, courtesy Vkuchal. He tried it on my bike too. You can go ahead and purchase the xx6 locks.
Sorry to have bugged you yesterday...
. Then we(me , Manas & harshit) all thought , that we said a bit too much, that to for your darling "bruna".- as it was her first day.
The bike is nice and total VFM..
Ride safe and take care with the break-in as Adi suggested.. because once if the machine is not done good break-in.. it will be a problem for you.. (neither you will be able to the desired mileage from it nor the power).RIP Marco

Guwahati (Assam)
Had booked a STD CBR250R Red from Vinayak Honda, Guwahati such a long time back that I had almost forgotten about it
Suddenly received a call from the dealer last evening inviting me to attend the CBR Launch in Guwahati city which was going to be held today... I was also informed that I would be the one of the first to get delivery of the vehicle...
Landed there at 11:30am with my son who was way more excited than me..
Greeting us outside the hall were a long line of 10+ CBRs all covered up

The new Unicorn was also present...

Off into the launch room..

Half of the launch room was filled with the press... after playing a series of videos and gyan, some senior guy from Honda made his way on to the stage for the unveiling..

Soon it was time to call the lucky owners and hand over the keys.. and loo & behold, the first name that gets called on stage is me
Yashu is glad to receive the Key for me!

A little bit of posing for the camera...

The bikes outside are unveiled now.. RED is by far the most popular color it seems... out of around 12 bike lined up there, 9 were red, 2 black and a lone silver!

Completed all the paperwork, bud did not take delivery of the bike today... will pick it up tomorrow as coincidentally, its also my birthday
Will keep you guys posted!
