The price hike is justified as oil companies are bleeding, but I feel when the government takes taxes from us, increases petrol rates which we pay, but the only thing which hurts us is our hard earned money goes into this politicians pocket and they make a merry out of those scandals, where the government can give good roads where we need less gear shifting and get more mileage, good water, cheaper houses for people in middle class, good supply of water and conserve greenery instead of selling the green lands to greedy builders.

Ah..!! Come on.. This is just not fair.
What the hell were these bureaucrats, corporates and all such **** involved doing when the crude oil was cheaper..? I mean, why the hell they didn't lower the retail prices then..? Were they making up for the loss incurred when crude oil was dearer..?
THIS ONE-WAY VALVE SYSTEM SHOULD COME TO AN END.
I am more than happy to pay more when oil prices shoot, if and only if I can pay less when price plummet.MOTORCYCLING IS AS MUCH ART AS IT IS SCIENCE

NikhilB, I am fully with you. Its simple - those who consume - pay more. Else you'll have rich farmers with tractors or the typical gurgaon land owner types running in BIG SUVs blowing up the fuel which is subsidized by my tax. no thanks!http://www.bikenomads.com/wiki/index.php/Leh - All you ever need to know about getting Leh'd.
