Nah!!! It's a PS work;Originally posted by kar1zma View Postis this for real?
I noticed something strange; on 12-Sep, the price per liter of Petrol in Salem was 72.26, but on 16-Sep it was 72.70. It was the same fuel station & same pump (or dispensing machine); does Petrol price keep fluctuating everyday? Atleast in Chennai, it doesn't. I couldn't observe this during refueling, but, only after coming back to Chennai. Quite strange or is this a new way of making money
BTW, that was also the same case at Ulundurpet BPCL COCO; was 72.72 on 12th & 72.75 on 16th
Edit
Here's another in similar lines...

If the govt was seriously intending to save us from the burden of fuel price rise, they wouldve setup EV charging stations (atleast in Metros) by now. But they want to make as much moolah as possible from the last drop of petrol available so they are just ignoring the EV vehicles altogether. Its hard for EV manufacturers to sustain without proper infrastructures. Hightime we switched to EV now. If the world switched to EVs then the oil supplying countries will suffer bigtime.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

In fact govt has gone one step ahead and removed the subsidy being offered to EV manufacturers. If the subsidy for oil can be diverted to EV, there would be win-win situation for both the consumers and the govt. (Assuming win situation for govt does no mean filling their pockets!)Originally posted by Nithesh View PostIf the govt was seriously intending to save us from the burden of fuel price rise, they wouldve setup EV charging stations (atleast in Metros) by now. Lol Nitesh; if this Govt were any serious, they would've collected pending taxes from companies or brought the amount of money in swiss bank into lime light; trust me that would be more than sufficient to close US's debt, forget alone ours

The Govt., could have reduced Direct and indirect taxes of Petroleum products,to actually reduce the end customer price. What many may not know is the fact that the Govt., this time lowered the Excise on normal Petrol to keep it at previous price level, while the diesel ,normal and premium were raised...The premium diesel had seen the maximum escalation of 19+ rupees and now the normal Petrol and Premium Diesel are almost same price...When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

But who's buying Premium Diesel? Audi, BMW & may be Fortuner owners? This compared to the price of regular Petrol, who're using anything from Pulsar to Panigale!!! This COVERment seriously needs to change!!!Originally posted by psr View PostThe premium diesel had seen the maximum escalation of 19+ rupees and now the normal Petrol and Premium Diesel are almost same price...Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
