  • I read it is to be priced competitive to CBR250R somewhere around 2L. I can't remember the site.

Any other info on speculated pricing?
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

          • Inazuma aka GW250 is showing itself.

Even before we got to see the bike in the world market and in big markets like India...............the Inazuma GW250 is showing its colors in the places where it is already being sold.

            1. The first video shows the honor which the GW250 truly deserves- of a muscle bike which is being so at home at stunts.I do not think, that either the Ninja or CBR looks this good while stunting on !!!!

            SUZUKI GW250 INAZUMA 250CC - Turkey - YouTube

2.The second video shows that when it comes to top end, the GW250 is no different from the CBR250R.............very quick to 141kmph but then takes time to get past the 150 kmph mark !!!!

suzuki inazuma GW 250 top speed 154.flv - YouTube

This is the only muscle 250cc bike in the market now which has the versatility......now it should really come to Indian shores for our enthusiasts !!!!

            • in the second video, look at the RPM needle, at 140 kmph, the RPM needle is at the end of tachometer range. very surprising.

              does this mean-
              • there is no rev limiter ?
              • or RPM range printed in tachometer is insufficient?? something like-- the bike revs to 12000 but tachometer can only display 11000 RPM, just an example...or i missed something.?
              • or the bike is modified and stock bike does not rev upto this RPM ?

Cheaper than CBR250R. Twin Cylinders. Twin Exhausts (one on either side). Higher mileage than CBR250R. Similar top speed. Serious muscle looks. This spells win from every angle. If only it was available in India

                        • Is the bike being manufactured in the US? $3499 is equivalent to 1.95 lakhs today in INR.
and its some sort of a tradition for Japanese bike manufacturers to showcase their products with a bit of a stunting showdown for fans/owners lately. CBR also had its share when it was launched both the 150 and the 250.

Go through all the parts and in the end they also showcase it on a scooter!!

At 140kmph, the bike did not even redline..........Then speed increased to 154kmph in 6th gear where-in it redlined past 11,500 rpms. The redlining area reading is in shadow, so it seemed as if the bike ran out of rev counts on the meter.

Being in the overdrive gear, it took time to redline.

                            Its perfectly normal.

Stunting do not look that good on a CBR as it looks on the Inazuma.

People can stunt on anything- heck even on a scooter, but stunt is a thing which needs to show and the Inazuma looks perfectly at home...........even being a 250cc twin...............this is what a muscle bike should be.........the Duke 200 also implies this.

Firstly For the bold part are you telling me you cannot see them "Stunting"?
Secondly there is no such thing as a "Stunting dont look good on X, Y or Z bike and look good on A B and C bike"
Thirdly this is the Inazuma thread so let's keep it at that. My point was about jap tradition of organizing a stunt/showoff session for fans/locals during product launch. Not about which bike looks better stunting.

"Suzuki Motorcycles GB has announced that the highly-anticipated 2012 Inazuma 250 will be available in showrooms this September at a retail price of Rs 3.01 lakh"

                                Too expensive, IMO!
