True it has to be less than INR 2,00,000 to survive in Indian Market.
Its ergonomics looks good for touring.
What are kawazaki and Yamaha doing there.
I think 2013 is year for Naked 250's

Errr what 250cc leader are they referring to that offers 16.48 kmpl? The 2012 Suzuki Inazuma boasts of a 4-stroke 248cc engine which will deliver a best in class fuel efficiency of 30.48kmpl, which according to Suzuki is 14.4kmpl more than the current 250cc leader.

The UK release of Inazuma 250 is priced at 3,499 Pounds..It is 500 Pounds less than CBR250R and about 1,100 Pounds less than Ninja N250R.Claimed power is 26 Bhp and FE of 30 kms per liter...I guess it is basically a Commuter which (wish)may be positioned below CBR 250 in Price..

In Europe and US, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Honda CBR 250R are also called commuters. Probably Splendor would be called a toy bike thereOriginally posted by psr View PostThe UK release of Inazuma 250 is priced at 3,499 Pounds..It is 500 Pounds less than CBR250R and about 1,100 Pounds less than Ninja N250R.Claimed power is 26 Bhp and FE of 30 kms per liter...I guess it is basically a Commuter which (wish)may be positioned below CBR 250 in Price..

I got your point and I said that stunts look better if executed on naked\muscle bikes- which is in agreement with your point that whatever the Japanese launches- they may showcase its stunting capabilities even if the bike is made for it or not.Originally posted by Nithesh View Postare you telling me you cannot see them "Stunting"?
there is no such thing as a "Stunting dont look good on X, Y or Z bike and look good on A B and C bike"
this is the Inazuma thread so let's keep it at that.
Also since Inazuma is a muscle bike, my post is apt here......that's all I have to say.Hell's Angel

if your information is true, it is definitely a commuter bike unlike cbr250 which is targeted as a small capacity sports tourer type or ninja 250 as a learner sport bike.Originally posted by psr View PostThe UK release of Inazuma 250 is priced at 3,499 Pounds..It is 500 Pounds less than CBR250R and about 1,100 Pounds less than Ninja N250R.Claimed power is 26 Bhp and FE of 30 kms per liter...I guess it is basically a Commuter which (wish)may be positioned below CBR 250 in Price..
but AFAIK, in abroad, cbr and ninja sells at same price.
and so, does it mean if made in india we can get it close to ....say 1.2 lakhs, but i dont think suzuki is that keen on indian market so as to make a manufacturing base here....like cbr.Last edited by princesirohi; 07-14-2012, 01:53 AM.

Original specs release of GW250/Inazuma listed the bike to be developing 18.9KW@8500rpms, which translates to 25 bhp and it has remained unchanged as far as I know.I think MCN is quoting the figure from some Chinese magazine. The original figure would come up in their road test.Originally posted by tejasmph View Postand its 24bhp only...
It also develops 22.8Nm torque, which translates into beefy pick-up in any gear.
The Inazuma being a long stroke SOHC twin would definitely put out best mileage figures being a 250cc bike.
And it is true, in Western countries, they use 250cc bikes as commuters and as learners, no matter what.............their economies permit them to go for lifestyle big bikes easily.
Hence Suzuki made this bike with this configuration to make all ends meet.
A torquey muscle bike with amiable mileage figures has enough punch despite the speculation about specs - to put up respectable top ends and acceleration.Hell's Angel

So.. we have our 3rd 25 bhp bike now. Wonder how good this one would be since this weighs around 48kg (almost the weight of a teenage/early 20s girl) more than the Duke (and around 15kg more than CBR). I hope Suzuki doesn't decide to charge money /kg.
*Now don't all start off with these are completely different and blah blah blah! Both are 25 bhp and both are street nakeds.*Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
