ZX6R or ZX10R are no show for India.

some bike around 1400 cc is also on the cards. 10R not on recent list.
Thanks a lot! Now I can peacefully think about other options!

So then it would be the Ninja 1000... There isn't much difference between the 2... They are essentially the same bike... Atleast I couldn't find any major difference in the tech specs or the looks apart from a semi fairing that the Ninja 1000 carries in comparison to the naked Z1000...

    2011 Z1000 Sport - Kawasaki.com

edit: The Z1000 has a slightly sportier set up... Whereas the ninja 1000 has a more relaxed/touring setup... But essentially they are the same thing...

I suppose it will be the z1000 and definitely not the zx10r

Plus the fact that a said auto journalist has been given the bike to put miles onto it and I believe the bike must have done more than 500 kms on the odo by now. So the launch is very near.

And about the pricing, lets keep our fingers crossed.
The official launch is 8th June which is when the bookings will begin as well.

Was told that the pricing is going to be competitive and some parts are sourced from local suppliers like meters from pricol and cables etc. from a local supplier to keep costs low. This is true for the N250R as well. These parts are sent to Kawa for approval and quality checks on a periodic basis.
