Ninja 650 production starts from today. Launch date 8th June. Killer pricing expected.

Pl. do not ask for sources or more info. Won't disclose source and do not have more info.

I don't why but the manufacturers are showing a tendency of releasing the sparks about the big machine. Then, kept people speculating about it for close to 6 months to 1 year and then launched the product with less then the expected things.

It happened with the N250R earlier, same is going on for 2011 R15, KTM 200 and now the ER-6F.

The only consolation are the price that we are discussing here. I mean, if really we could have a 600 cc between 6 to 7 lakhs or even lesser; I can think about changing my preferences from super sport to sports tourer.

However, After going through all the details provided by several members and the inputs from some seniors; it seems that pretty soon we'll be having the bigger cubic capacities ruling the Indian biking scenario.

Now if any one want to buy a green baby kwaker from chennai pbk would take 2-3 weeks time. Black one is readily available.

OT: Congrats for your GT650R .

    Totally agree with you.

the OTR price of the Ninja 650R in the UK is 4.5 lac.
so... if Bajaj want to price it below 5 lac... they very well can.
and if you ask me... i think they prolly will.
You're right about Ninja's build quality. I personally saw it. But about N650, Better compare it with something released after the CKD Policy came into effect.

GT650R costs 5199 Pounds. Ninja costs 6399. Despite different import channels and locations, we can't ignore 1200 Pounds extra, which comes to some 85,000 INR, taxes not considered.

Even GT costs 4.75 Lac ex showroom. So, how do you rationally expect Bajaj to price it below 5L?

If they do get it in 5 Lacs ex showroom though, they'll have a lot of respect from my side, and from many other bikers... I'm going to be their customer anyways, unless they price it above 6 OTR.

Does the 650R have temperature indicator or just the overheat lamp? Saw some videos but could make out that it has only the overheat lamp - the console is really sexy , the self check and the layout is good, a bit tough to read but a new age console derived from race spec Kawasaki.
Not sure about it mate. NO LITRE CLASS as of now.

    August?? that seems quite far-off!

Especially since the teasers on the site have been up for already a couple of weeks now....I'm guessing the wraps could come off the Ninja ER-6f (650R) by mid-June.
