I guess this also happens in case of 4 wheelers also , No company offer exchange directly they always have some third party dealing with it , It's just that they make it readily available.

Exchange offer or not it doesn't matter , Most of the showrooms have links with used bike sale/purchase shop owners and they can easily call them in case there is customer who wants to sell his Bike .But they never give good value for old bikes.Originally posted by melroyal View Post

So basically, you mean upgrade by just purchasing N650R like we normally do? And sell N250 to a third party? That's it?Originally posted by trustvishwas View PostThis means that the Ninja 250 owners will have an option to upgrade to bigger cc bike. Earlier, Kawasaki did not have any bike bigger than 250. So this statement makes sense. Bajaj will not be providing exchange scheme.
I guess interpretations is the key here. I think they mean that Bajaj is giving one more "option" (N650) to upgrade, if you're looking for a big cc bike.

Some point to note:
It will be a 650cc twin
will give riders an option to upgrade from the currently available Ninja 250cc twin
Bajaj Auto is also learnt to be developing its own version of a 'superbike', which will be part of the Pulsar family.
