these arguments not gonna head anywhere, its my mistake which i didn;t put in the right context ... it should been put like this :

earlier we didn't had 600+CC now we have 1 [read as GT].. which already on sale .. now ppl who hoped to get 600+ bikes didn't had any choice then GT...so ideally pointing ..all they wanted is to buy this.
Now N650 will be on sale soon .. now tell me friend how many ppl who already book GT will cancel it and go for N650 ? or even how many person who spending 5+lac and who is dreaming about big bike will go for N650 ?
Still i can say Hardly 5-10% will go for it .. and those % of ppl are those who know exactly what kind of bike they want for which purpose [u can say specific category of ppl ]..

if u think that there are "N" number of ppl who are limited [at least] knowledge of bikes and the purpose they are gonna use it .. will go for N650 .. then ...know this i can show u there 90% others who don;t know wt they are buying [read as WOW,looks and road presence will sells more ]

anyway this is pointless to discuss about these things .. let the bike launch and Njoy the rides

Any more discussions we can carry on on PM
You are right this is OT.. we should end this.

Everytime the tracker shows this thread I jump in to check if we have a confirm news on the pricing and what I get to see is people arguing just to prove superiority of words...and if one of them gets another support its his BALL. Chill guys, wont we get to know what percentage shift to N650 pretty soon? Just 3 days.

Humble request : For now can we have this thread updated with some more concrete news(if anybody has one)?

P.S : Now don't bash me...Its just my excitement/frustration(of waiting for the rest of news) speaking

    +1 ... well said.
It is just plain laughable when people start pulling numbers out of the air.

    Share. GT650. You kidding me

The set of customers who will buy the GT is 'different' from the set of customers who will buy the N650! in the 500-800cc class, I predict Royal enfield will be the most selling in that class!
You NAILED it this time buddy

Both the bikes will move off the showroom floors. What tilts the scales in the Ninja's favor is the brand, quality and performance/reviews.
The GT will surely suffer from bad quality perception, after sales service syndrome; most importantly, every buyer will surely think of what happened to the earlier Hyosung venture and how the owners were left out. For the masses to take Garware Motors more seriously, it will take time.

Hunto Pulsar is NOT in that CC category! and YOU ARE OT! and weak in Maths.

SO: if it IS 4.5L, where are the rest of the guys who promised they are buying the bike with me

And anyone heard about the Triumph range of bikes coming in rumour? If thats true then the T675 comes in for 5 Lakhs and that is YUMMY! (But I could still do with the n650)

I find it pretty amusing that people start quoting numbers without any basis or underlying facts.

5-10%... the top end of the estimation is double of the lower end... LOL... just LOL.

No hardships though. You are allowed to express your opinion whole-heartedly
sorry buddy .. i am not aware wt ur trying to say .. but i didn;t have any view on new R15.. in this thread .

Are you really saying R15 will eat Hyosung and Kwackers market? ROFLMAO .
i don;t agree with the part of maintenance of N650 will be cheaper than GT... and i don;t think N250 is any way cheaper in terms of spares and parts ... in 250 category... bajaj intentionally placed Green @ higher side ... u can even import comet parts from Thailand for much cheaper than N250 parts available in india ..
can't believe me ..just check with comet owners ... u have to accept the fact that Greens are placed much higher price tag to project its image of posh bike in affordable category.. [N650 price i have not included ..as i don;t trust source ..untill official pricing]

and about last longer bike ....trust me ..its depends solly on owners care ..

    2. There won;t be any price cuts for N250R
    3. There is no RIP for GT650R [there are plenty of ppl are still ready to buy even N650 price much below it]
    4. there is no RIP for N250R [there are too many who like to own 250 than 650]
    5. the N650 snatching of customers will be barely 5-10% from GT650R
    6. both will sell and both comp will do good business.
    7. GT650 will be a easy to maintain and economical bike .... and N650 will be premium and expensive bike in terms of maintainance [akin to CBR vs Ninja]

so relax ... don;t see that facts from ur own versions .. see it in broader version ...

bottomline is : if a certain characteristics are the criteria..then Ferrri, Austin martin, BMW all these sports cars doesn;t exists ... only one of them might have been the survivor
