hmmmmm... sounds like a song i heard at a funeral once.
The market in consideration is India and not America,in this market Hyundai is preferred more than Ford or GM.Hence with the pricing in similar category and being a cruiser even resuscitation is possible.

There would be a number of 250cc both from Indian as well as Jap OEMs to be placed between CBR250R and N250R.But the old arch rivals, GT250R and N250R would be at one another right from pricing to performance, losing a bit and gaining in some but targeting one another as usual.

Been to Showroom in Pune yesterday

Hi - Yesterday went to the garware showroom in Pune.

      GT650R - Decent bike
      72bhp, top speed 219 kmph
      Average - 18kmpl
On road price - Single color 5.5L, dual color - 5.75L

      Will post the picture shortly.

          Hyosung Bikes's quality

          hi,

Without a doubt, the price+performance package is awesome and both bikes are affordable too.

What I want to know is if anyone knows how is the quality of manufacturing & durability of the components of GT650R? Being a performance bike, 650R should be and will be ridden hard by most of those who buy it. Are they as good as Japanese bikes on quality aspects?

According to me it will be an acute heartburn spending decent amount to replace parts every now and then if quality does not meet up the performance drill down it is likely to face...For me my first experience of spending close to 50% of the original cost on maintenance itself on a "male" Indian bike(known for looks but not quality) makes me cautious...

If the quality is good..then it is indeed the best options available now... any comments are welcome as I am keen on booking a GT650R ...

I am under same dilemma. I have seen both bikes in flesh once and totally agree with amit bro.
Are there any Delhi guys planning for a Hyosung. I will be visiting gurgaon showroom tomorrow. Let’s meet together and discuss about the bikes. It’s going to help us all to understand the pros and cons of both bikes.
Delhi guys can PM me there contact details with preferred day and time to visit showroom.

Was there at the inauguration of Hyosung showroom in Mumbai with another xBhpian Mandar Vichare. Had a look at the two new bikes and had great time. Engineers from Korea were present for the inauguration too. Here's a video for the time being. Have clicked some pics. Shall follow soon.
