      • Autocar's review of the Hyosung bikes...

He does mention about the vibrations and the clutch being heavy. And low built quality of both the bikes.

        Fuel Efficiency:
        GT650R - City: 20.4 kpl
        Highway: 24.3 kpl

        ST7 - City: 19.6 kpl
        Highway: 22 kpl

It was a 3-4 kms ride. The bike has good torque low down. It accelerates pretty well. I liked the torquey punch which it gives.Put an aftermarket exhaust and you can have a proper Ducati rumble. The V-engine sounds almost like a Ducati. But the vibrations after 6k rpm are quite a lot. I wanted to leave my hand. I hit 140 in 3rd gear. In my opinion the bike is good below 6k rpm. Above which it feels unpleasant.
We told this to Mrs. Diya Garware-Ibanez. And she assured us that this matter is looked in into and they are trying to find a solution for that.
The fit and finish seemed satisfactory.

Other than that I feel that the GT650R will fulfill a person's desire to own a proper sportsbike. It feels like a sportsbike. It accelerates like one. It looks like one.

For now it is my last option.

Because of the riding style. The Hyosung has proper race ergonomics. It would be great if Ninja ZX6R comes along! Because I really need the racing ergonomics for now. I will go for street bikes and sport tourers after 40 maybe.

Surprisingly, i felt the other way round. I've taken the bike to 174 and beyond 150kph, all i could feel was wind and speed. Could not even figure out the vibes at such high speeds.

Please note that at such high speeds, your mind would be more focused on keeping you alive than worry about some extra vibes here or there. But yes for below 6K rpm, i completely agree with you.

There might be a slight chance that your review is not impartial...

I'm not saying that you are biased. But its just the fact that you may not be a "third-party"....

                    • Or maybe the bike that we had for test rides was abused by all the journalists before? And it was probably not in its prime condition.

                      • Last i checked, the dealer at Blore mentioned that no test rides are going to be available. Hopefully this changes. I'll put my money down on the GT650R only after a test ride or after a few first hand ownership reviews.

But by then the bigger Kawa will be out.

So by the time I am ready to buy it I think the problem should be solved... Say by year end... I hope so though... thanks a lot for you insights...

Somebody said it is on Lalbagh Road, but I don't see anything there. Even if it is coming up, I haven't seen any progress anywhere.

Somewhat AutoCar review is right because most international reviews state of the vibes present in the GT650R.
But overall the bike looks good,it is also well priced and goes like a rocket.Easily managing speeds of 200kmph.
