Ketan , great pics.. The paint quality on the GT650R looks fab in my opinion. What do you have to say about the quality of parts? Do they look and feel good? What company are those brakes and tyres from?

Why NE is completely ignored by these companies? Damn it at least open up a showroom in Kolkata at least

Garware motors has their base in Pune, hence most of the showrooms are around Pune (except Delhi). Btw, fewer showrooms is their initial plan. I believe, there would be newer showrooms across the country soon

Has anyone booked this till now , or is everyone waiting for the price of ninja before jumping in .

First GT650R Booked in Bangalore

Booking for Hyosung Steed opens up today in Bangalore! Received sms from Mr. Arun around 12:00 PM, was left with no option but to apply emergency leave and rush.
Following is the structure for the most Pricey State (Road Tax) of India:
(only for GT650R)
Ex-showroom: Rs. 4.81 lakhs (single tone) and Rs. 4.96 (dual tone)
On-road: Rs. 5.60 lakhs and Rs. 5.77 lakhs respectively

When bookings for Ninja opened up in Bangalore I was at my native place so was pushed down in the queue.
But, this time I was bestowed to grab the opportunity and be the FIRST one to book a GT650R in the state of Karnataka, booking amount is Rs. 50,000. Made the payment through cheque, there was indeed another fanatic who was following Mr. Arun from past one month, when I met Mr. Arun he posited the guy's point to be No.1 in the List, I had no issues so he Registered my Booking against Slip No. 002 by skipping and reserving Slip no. 001 for another bike lover (like me, he should (and would be) be thankful to me!)

The Bangalore showroom will be in place by 2nd week of May (as instated by Mr. Arun), he has further requested GARWARE Motors to enlist him in the Dealer Contact List of their Website

With GT650R on its way (delivery will be between June15th to June 30th, may also get pre-poned and very meager chances of postponement), time has come for me to bid Goodbye to my Green Ninja 250R (13.5 months old, 9350 kms on Odo, switched to Shell Advanced Ultra fully synthetic when Odo read 6800 kms) and will be left with Yamaha R15 for time being
