Was a bit busy today so missed the to update , I got a call from PBK Delhi CP showroom at 4:20 pm today (20-june/Monday) that bike is available on display.
Planning to visit showroom on Saturday and then may be finalize my bike on Sunday.

Hey man but when I called the lady at around 5.30 pm she said it's out of the showroom for some ride check or something(didn't quite understand her) but she said it's not in the showroom. I shall call her once again tomorrow and confirm.

Also wouldn't you be interested in test driving the bike once before you finalize it?

Mate ,We will check with them tomorrow. I would love to take TD if that is on offer but going by bajaj reputation with ninja 250r i don't think they would provide the TD.

I am more inclined towards buying GT but wanted to check ninja before going ahead. Don't wanna regret after my purchase.

I would be checking bike this saturday , if possible let's meet on saturday and share some thoughts on ninja and GT

Experience from stunting days will sure help sir. Cant wait for a test ride of N650R. Hope it nmakes me smile. and Hopefully, i will have my big bike one day and i could powerwheelie out of a corner .

This being my first post, my regards to everybody. I could not keep my excitement down. Called up the PBK in Kolkatta and got the news that first batch of N650R will arrive in 30 days. I have one booked.

pp180 - Dude the CP showroom is closed on saturdays.

It does wheelie on first gear, had an unintentional one in 1st gear but it won't sustain like 600cc supersports and if that is one of the important criteria of you looking for this bike then you should look elsewhere.

SAD NEWS for all NCR aspirants for the bike who are planning to book this bike soon.According to the dealer of bajaj pro biking CP,the waiting time has been extended from (already mountainous) 90 days to 120 DAYS

Today was the day when the bike got finally displayed for the very first time in NCR and today only (as the dealer mentioned) he received an email stating from the branch head to not to promise the bike delivery in a span of 90 days but 120 days.My facial reactions were suddenly turned to being depressed as soon as I heard this news.The prior available waiting span was already too long to resist the bike ,for a person,specially like me who is not very patient already to get his hands on "the" bike here.But this news just murdered the already manipulated waiting fun.

The dealer said that already more than 90 bikes have been booked throughout India so the demand is very high which I obviously understand,acknowledge and appreciate.But didn't bajaj-kawi already had a target of at least selling 240 bikes in the first month of launch?If they did have that target in the head to achieve then why couldn't they prepare well before for that expected/targeted demand :S (beats me)

Anyways 4 months is tooooo long for a waiting period for me so I am gonna hold my booking for some time now till I actually test ride the bike and feel it more up-close.The test rides are not available too and I have no clue when would that begin too. :\

I was overwhelmed when I heard the news of it being displayed in the showroom today FINALLY.The bike looks sturdy,compact and SHARP! However not as big as you'd guess it is from the pics on the internet.Also the front seat of the bike was just below my pelvic area ( I am 5'11" tall) so I am now sure that a test ride would only make my mind and heart more stable before I finalize my decision.

yes. starting today... the N650R has a 120 day waiting period now.

Bajaj sent out an official email today.

the reason?!? due to the overwhelming response to the N650R...
the delivery time is now upto 120 days.

slight OT:
I wouldn't mind waiting for 6 months if it was the Z1000 or ZX-10R.
but its seriously going to be a bad one from Bajaj if they start delivery after 4months (120days) and announce the launch of the bigger bike, simultaneously

well that just goes to show that they aren't going to have anything bigger for atleast 4 months.
