is the new pulsar series definitely coming by december???
i want to buy the pulsar220 and am getting very impatient, also there is no straight answer by the pbk guys about a pulsar upgrade coming soon.......Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride!' -Hunter S. Thompson

Yesterday only I went to Khivraj Bajaj Showroom in Bangalore, All Pulsars were so much stocked that they can deliver for full 1 mth....Originally posted by Krish1417 View PostMy friend went to buy P220,it was not available..Even 150,180 was not in stock. He enquired in almost every showroom in the state.Only P135 was in stock in some of the showrooms. So,the launch may happen anything soon.
I don't think New pulsar range will be on road before 3-4 mths....

Is there a need to replace the 1st Generation Pulsars..?? Especially when each one of P135, P150, P180 and P220 still selling quite well.. why is there a need to stop them.
I had found comments made by a few members on "coming out with new color schemes/graphics to clear the existing stock" really funny. If one needs to clear stock then it is either done disceetly or by doling out discounts.
Why can't the Next Generation Pulsar (s) co-exist with the current ones..??
In terms of business strategy, let the competition still try to catch up with the current (1st) generation.. the next generation can take things to a different level altogether. Also in terms of sales numbers BAL would only gain.

If existing Pulsar is retained with new one, either existing one will be cheaper than current price, which is not possible since Discover is already there.Originally posted by payeng View PostIs there a need to replace the 1st Generation Pulsars..?? Or the new can be costlier than the existing one, if that happens the new one will not be called Pulsar but some thin else, so in both cases new and existing series can't co-exist...

You are assuming that next gen Pulsar will not see any price rise or if it is costlier it cannot be called pulsar (don't know why!!) but, no one indicated that it's going to sell at the same price, now if Rajiv Bajaj's statement of "technology that is next level to motorcycles" is true, I would expect next gen pulsars to charge at least 5k premium over the existing ones! in that case both can co-exist.. also existing price gap between Disco 150/Pulsar 150 is around 15k.. so there is lot of room to maneuver pricing.Originally posted by saurabh81 View PostIf existing Pulsar is retained with new one, either existing one will be cheaper than current price, which is not possible since Discover is already there.
