Are you saying that "they're so durable that they don't just fall apart, but they look crappy so I want them to fall apart", OR are you saying "they're crappy and non-durable" ??

Either ways, LML Scooters are really durable enough for the common commuter. My dad had an LML Sensation (with a Pizza type box backside) years ago; he sold it to a lady teacher; the lady teacher is still using it... Saw her some months ago.

And you ask how long ago? Well, about 12 years or so... And I agree with Super_Sbk above. LML Scoots are reliable.

We own same LML sensention from 14 years. It had many faults from the start.
@Super_SBK: Reliability with LML? next to none. Bajaj Supriya, chetak are some reliable scooters.

If you guys want to learn 'Engineering disasters 101', just look under the hood of an LML.
Remember Adreno? It was launched at the same time of classic pulsar. Now this bike is extinct.

            Hey bro
first of all u r wrong about bajaj scooter, there is no scooter named supriya it may be bajaj super.
And about the reliability acoording to me both bajaj and lml are equally reliable but lml is better in terms of performance, once i drove my friend's lml select and boy it was awesome.
and there is no major change under the hood of a bajaj and a lml because both of them shares the technology of vespa in lml the engine was in middle providing a good balance unlike the bajaj but lml improved their technology in their scooter which was the reason of decrease in the sale of bajaj scooters
but lml failed to do so with their bikes the only good bike of lml was freedom IMO.and about adreno it was too advanced for that time and was equipped wiith some great features like self start, wider rear tier, semi fairing which was enough for a 100cc bike and again u r comparing the two different bikes from different categories classic pulser was from150cc segment and it will not be fair to compare adreno with it and another reason for the failure of adreno was bad A.S.S. and why u r shifting from reliabilty of lml scooter to the reliabilty of lml bike and again if u r having problems with lml sensation from starting then it must be a manufacturing defect in a particular scooter and it does not mean that its entire range was faulty

LML scooters were much better than bajaj scooters in terms of refinement, smoothness, NVH levels, performance, pick-up, handling style etc. in reliability both were almost equal.

LML had very good balance unlike bajaj which had engine entirely on one side. feature wise too LML was ahead.

sadly enough, the era of scooters ended and with that LML went down, coz they couldn't compete in bike market.

They are selling less scooters as compared to the past, u see they are now only targeting the nothern markets mainly U.P.,delhi and neighbouring states . By the way on my recent trip to kanpur I spotted two black lml NV 4t and bro blve me the were looking very hot in black

last time i went to my hometown in U.P. - its a small place called- "hapur", i was surprised to a LML showroom in my town. but on road i have seen none.

may be it will take some time to pick up sales.

Yep u are right and i think with the launch of star 200 they will target the south @starscream1188
if u want to buy a scooter for ur dad then u should wait for vespa lx 125 and if ur dad is a geared scooter lover only then go for star because auto tranny is much more comvinent to old people than the MT and also star will not give the desired mileage and fe would be around 35 to 40 kmpl in city because it is 200 cc and IMO its a highway machine and if u can wait then go for lx 125 .OT and no offence ment to activa users ,please do not end up buying activa its very common on road and is under powred as compared to lx 125 .And if u cant wait then follow my stupid suggestion ,come here to delhi and buy a NV and transport it to ur city and IMO servicing it there in ur city and finding the spares will not be a problem
@veryhiphop ,bro u had promised me to post the pics of ur dad's scoot ,please post them and please also give the add of ur lml dealer as one of our fellow member had asked about it in this thread. Thanks
