The Ducati Monster 796 I bought in Feb 2011 from the Mumbai showroom cost me approx 9.5 all inclusive!! I think the Ducati Monster 795 will be priced at a lower rate!!
Also I heard they increased the price of the 796!!

The FTA which was signed between India and Japan VERY LONG AGO itself is going to take 2020 to be implemented 100%.
The FTA between India and Europe will take even longer time.

There are some people saying there is a 400cc ducati coming soon.
              I guess its just hope/speculation.
400cc ducati sounds unreal to me at the moment.

If it's beyond 2015, I am not going to wait for BMW M5 to get cheaper

Moreover, I also heard about the same (a Duke within 6 lakhs). However, I don't think that it will carry the true Ducati character if it is going to be within 6.

Ducatis are costly because of their exceptional designs and the engineering. I don't think it is possible to achieve within a budget limited to 6 lakhs...

Well, who knows they might have some alternatives for that as well

There is no ruduction in the manufacturing cost or change in manufacturing procedures, so no change in the Ducati DNA and character. the launch of new Ducati 795 in thailand and import to india means less amount spent by ducati on duties as we have free trade with thailand.
Its expected to have a double sided swingram and a tuned down engine, so that surely adds to less cost
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Sorry for the misguidence pal, but they only have an assembly plant there, not sure about the manufacturing through, as far as I know it is still manufactured in Italy, will be assembled in Thailand.

No pics of the bike. I was expecting some spy pics by now..but will be leaving for malaysia tomorrow to cover a few places and the ducati event along with the MalaysianGP
Will try to post pics as soon as possible.
