I was also told to expect delivery by March. I "think" I heard them say that the insurance would be 18K.Originally posted by umeshmenon5 View PostHi guys,

Sales rep was unable to comment on the OTR price of any location as she advised that the Manager and other senior people are at the Ducati Stall in Delhi ExPo.
She confirmed that Ducati currently has only one showroom in India. ie, Mumbai as the Bangalore and Delhi showrooms are shutdown. So we will need to book the bike from Mumbai showroom. WRS to service, Service person will come down to Bangalore from Mumbai, when required... This is what was conveyed to me Yesterday!!!!

Q
Hi i was anxiously waiting for a naked middle weight. I have a small question.
I would like to use this bike daily as primary means of transport, i know that its a hoot in the city. But my real problem is i also like to go on short tours in the weekends mostly under 300km. Will the monster be able to sustain speeds of 120-140 km/h for long time. My concern is with no top end (peak power at around 8k) and the fact that such a huge engine being air cooled..????

Man are you serious 120-140 for a Duc Monster!!!, even the R15 can sustain around 120 on highways, and am sure on highways air colling wont be much of a problem, in city it might be diffreent not sure though.Originally posted by Ab13 View PostHi i was anxiously waiting for a naked middle weight. I would think any speed that you could maintain on any highway in India should be fine for Ducati.Originally posted by Ab13 View PostHi i was anxiously waiting for a naked middle weight. I have a small question.

How the air-cooled engine would fare in traffic jams on Delhi streets is something I would like to know more about.

The rep at the Auto Expo I spoke with was only talking about Mumbai showroom. I asked about Bangalore - he wasn't too committal. He was saying buy it in Mumbai - You will not feel the difference. For service, its just a phone call to us, service engineers will land at your door step to service your bike. Spares - the same thing, call us, we will deliver the spares to your doorstep (to even fix it)Originally posted by umeshmenon5 View PostSales rep was unable to comment on the OTR price of any location as she advised that the Manager and other senior people are at the Ducati Stall in Delhi ExPo.
