Guys, it seems that everything is being done to hide the fact that it is getting environmentally tuned. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong in clean emissions, till it retains its complete performance & mileage.
And mileage, straight from 20.8 kmpl to 17kmpl?? So, this is the main impact of the environmental restrictions? No wonder Akrapovics are selling like hot cakes abroad...
The above comment was based on my understanding of technicals, and not the 2012 bike specifically. I still want to know what it reads on the dyno, in front of clear rivals like SV650, or in front of 2011 model which I could never get due to bookings being stopped. Only time will tell what this 2012 model is actually...

Looks way better than the current er6n. But the million dollar question. When will this come to India?| '91 Yamaha RX100 | '08 Suzuki Swift | '08 Honda Dio | '09 Bajaj Pulsar 220F |

well, to me the swingarm looks a bit out of place, not cool at all.Originally posted by Ghost11 View Post
New twin-tube style swingarm is prominently displayed; it creates a less-cluttered look and better matches the lines of the new frame. A new footpeg hanger is also well-integrated visually.
do u mean to say that 2011 model was not meeting emission norms??Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostGuys, it seems that everything is being done to hide the fact that it is getting environmentally tuned. No, emission standards change with time and that's what happened. Maybe the 2012 model could have done without it, but then it would be sold in lesser markets than it would be now..Originally posted by princesirohi View Postdo u mean to say that 2011 model was not meeting emission norms??
And Kawasaki obviously want it to be sold in more and more markets, ain't that right?Last edited by Samarth 619; 10-11-2011, 07:15 PM.---
