The problem is that once they have a 90's 400.people forget about the 200 trees bit.Originally posted by Samarth 619 View Post

PBK has a cold attitude problem I suppose.
They switch topics when I ask about the new model. They say some bookings have already been taken back due to the new release, But still they have no clue on this new model.

Hi HarishK,Originally posted by HarishK View PostFellows Please advise,
I have already booked the N650R months ago and waiting for the delivery by Feb-March 2012.
My Brain is washed by this article. Contacted the PBK and they have no clue about this.
I would like this one over the old one. Is it possible to switch over? 1st of all is it launching in India?
Also can anyone predict the appox cost here in India
Of course it is possible to switch over. Simply shoot an email or letter to your local Bajaj Probiking manager, requesting the same. Mention that you are not cancelling your booking, but holding on to it. And instead, you want to stop the bike allotment for the 2011 model. And as soon as this 2012 model will be available, you'd like to be informed, so that you can go ahead with the necessary formalities.
Just in case you're wondering how I know this...well, I have done the same. I was expecting my 2011 650R in November, 2011. You're expecting delivery in Feb, 2012, so as it is, you're waiting quite a few months more anyway.
As for when it'll be available, Bajaj is not saying a thing. But I reckon it should be here by the next financial year. So if you've got the patience to wait for around 6 months...hang on for the 2012 version.
Pricing...expect it to be more expensive, but not by a lot.
Hope you're in a better position to take a call now

Exactly my thoughts, but they're said to do some tuning for more low end and mid range torque. The biggest culprit is the environmental aids put in it. Now, it has lesser claimed mileage (17 from 20.8 kmpl).Originally posted by no_nonsense4857 View PostThe tachometer is a welcome addition, however loosing the single seat and also gaining extra weight is not good at all
Keeping the power at the same figure, isn't the increase in weight a step behind? The additional weight is not even for ABS... so thats added waste!
I so loved the 2011 edition. It had a character: that all digital console, those double tone looks, that performance, those twin headlights w/ pilot lamps, etc, etc.
Now, since I missed its booking, I'll have to get one maybe second hand... since no one is transferring their booking in Jaipur PBk.---
