@vishwas :- If I were you I would have stolen the bike for sure . Nice snaps man, Thanks a lot. Did you speak to the rider ? Any feedback?

Guys check this EXCLUSIVE FIRST RIDE - KTM 125 DUKE: Let's Duke 'em!, guess it is very old article but still worth a read, says the 200 produces 24 bhp on dyno, but that compression is very high, I dont think that kinda compression is feasible with our type of fuel quality, I expect a little detuning, the min power I am expecting is 22 and max 23bhp, but still for that puny weight it is gonna be awesome.

That’s because the 125 Duke’s liquid-cooled twin overhead cam four-valve single motor, measuring 58 x 47.2 mm for a capacity of 124.7cc, has been robustly engineered for durability as well as performance, says Prielinger, who declares that KTM took the lessons learnt in developing their highly-stressed 250 motocross engine as the basis for producing the Duke motor, whose cylinder head is almost identical to that on KTM’s 250SX model. This means the engine can grow to 200cc for a future power-up kit that’s already producing 24 bhp on the Mattighofen dyno, compared to the 15 bhp@10,500 rpm, which the restricted 125cc version makes. The 200 Duke may even end up as a separate model for India and other markets. More promisingly, Prielinger admits that his team has run a 250SX engine installed in the 125 Duke’s chrome-moly trellis frame, without any problems!

Is there a Green+White in the color list ? If YES, then I've seen one doing rounds on Easter Express Highway(Mumbai)
The only thing standing in your way, the ONLY thing you can count on, at any given time.. Is YOU

24 bhp on dyno? then it must be producing more BHP than cbr250 at engine. LOL
If we assume it to be true then the lightness and agility of this bike will definitely put this bike beside ninja 250.

Bike looks appealing to me. I am trying to imagine this without the rear tyre hugger and without the rear number plate... It will look killer!!

but dont you think it will be too difficult for the people behind you?

                      @topic, bike looks yummy
i guess people are over speculating a bit too much
if the bike can manage 21 bhp with a weight of 140 kg's(estimation) then the power to weight ratio will be 150bhp/ton, cbr's p/w is 152...

but dont you guys think the aerodynamic fairing of cbr gives it an advantage at top speed/acceleration... i dont have much knowledge about this, so kindly clear my doubt

Isn't P220 already doing that with 2-valve carb engine. With FI/4-valve don't you think it can manage atleast 22bhp? looking at the pics, I don't think it will weigh more than 130kg (just my opinion). Dimensions seem to be pretty similar to FZ, so that's what makes me think it's weight will be more or less around 130kg mark. Now if you calculate the same power to weight ratio

Just wanted to add, even then I feel CBR250 will be good at it's claimed top speed.. but won't you be concerned about low & mid-range performance. That's where Duke 200 is going to nuke them all i.e. competition.

Maybe it's the KTM genes which attracts "dirt" towards it
You'd be surprised to hear there is no time to wash it...
And they wash only if there is a breakdown or any parts fault

also there are few other parts shared from the pulsars....

Also the bike feels light or similar to the weight of my FZ...
So rest assured it would be a hellava ride.....

That means it would be a screamer at high revs..coool!!
Tyres are not worn out. That is the tread pattern.
tyres are 110(f) & 150(r).. That would be the biggest in that segment..
