Honda launching the CRF 250L is a speculation floated by one of the online portals, don't believe in whatever you hearOriginally posted by Vignesh vnktrmn View PostThis month's edition of BI magazine has an add featuring the RTR 250fx.Does that hint something when honda is now planning to launch the CRF 250-L???
It may very well remain a speculation for some years until THEY think India is ready for such bikes

Kudos to the TVS R&D
Putting ABS on the Apache, that too a priced very reasonably was quite praise worthy.
But it's high time for an upgrade
But it has been almost 7 years for the Apache (launched in 2006) now to have existed in the current form & platform (engine/frame/suspension). It's high time for a real/proper upgrade now.
About the Racing DNA positioning
No matter how many hundrerds of crores one spends over airing TV commercials, for the "common public (aam janata)", the simple equation is: Full Fairing = Racing DNA.
Apart from that, for the enthusiasts who actually care to follow domestic motorsports, TVS also has to up the ante of their "Factory Racing Team". Private teams competing with modded Yamaha R15's have beaten their Factory Team in the last few National Road Racing Championships.
And now the Honda CBR150R is also in the fray armed with a "Full Fairing".

TVS has a history of coming back with a bang, hopefully it'll continue...But as Ive observed, their products have never really been able to better the best, period.
Their interest in developing new technologies is worth noting but that alone doesn't say a lot about the company. Its RTR is being meeked by upcoming launches, that their flagship is a hoot to ride is a whole different story thing altogether.Last edited by srini; 03-05-2012, 06:37 AM.

TVS will never ever forget their racing pedigree, it was "the thing" that resurrected TVS... if they continue dishing out 100ccs then, it'll be only a matter of time before they become extinct, TVS would definitely know that... maybe they want to study the market and the demand for particular motorbikes...
or maybe they are waiting for other manufacturers to play out their trump cards early... so that they can strike when the others are least expecting.. we won't know anything for sure right now.. we just have to wait
. i'm pretty sure that TVS won't fail us this time round...

Since Bajaj has already revealed about the 350, I am sure the top management at TVS can plan accordinglyOriginally posted by payeng View PostI am afraid that the promised 350 cc would be ready from BAL by then
, but then with TVS you never know, they might just be content in dishing out 100 cc bikes
