^^You find it low or what?

I think the range will be around 250-300 kms with this tank which is not really bad. I am not really into touring, may be our in house touring experts can throw some light on this.

range could be around 350 - 370 kms according to way the biker drives & quality of the route...it may be even gone down to 250kms if the routhe is soo bad..

                  Just 125 Kg dry! WOW!

125 kg dry is some serious power to weight ratio! But can it tour?

                    why don't.......?

even a fully faired R15 can tour through rough roads of India....then why can't this bike tour.....?

touring mainly depends on riding position & ride-ability..you can tour on any bike but how good tourer it can be is a question for any bike. we have to wait & feel Duke's riding position to see how good tourer it can be.

WOW !!! 25bhp?? have to wait for torque figures ! lol
if dry weight is 125 then kerb would be about 135-138.
a litre of petrol is almost one kilo.
if its less than 1.5l on road then it could be my next bike.

but the very small tank (10.5l of which some will be reserved.) and no fairing could be a problem for touring. bummer.

how many valves and is it Fi or carb? i'm supposing four valves and Fi.
Would be a great city bike though.
                        Regardless, Life shall go on.

4 Valves per cylinder, DOHC and its got Fuel Injection. Since it's got Fi, I don't see it getting a reserve knob.

This bike has killer specs, I personally feel it will not be the best of tourers, will be a great second bike though. Torque figures of around 22 - 24 can be expected if not more

Guess the India launch will be last, wouldn't mind one of these as a second bike alongside my R15.

Specs are on the KTM website 200 Duke - Highlights - KTM
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !
