I too wish the specs remain the same, but may be it is detuned for India, anyways , lets wait until the Expo.

reserve knob or a reserve they tell you to keep if its Fi to keep it submerged or whatever. either way, real usable capacity will be lesser than 11l.

Just saw the website, some of the info in the tech sheet and description are contradictory.

But because it is a Fi, you cannot run it till its dry because of the presence of a submersible Fuel Pump. Thats what I guess yellowspunk meant by 'reserved'.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

          News from KTM site

200 Duke follows success of entry level 125 Duke
Following the unprecedented success of the 125 Duke in 2011, which rocketed to the top of the 125 cc bike segment sales in the first six month of its release in the early summer of 2011, KTM now presents the equally attractive 200 cc version. This is a sporty small motorcycle that produces 19 kW (26 hp) that more than matches its little brother in impressive handling and typical KTM design language. The 200 Duke continues the success story of the KTM Duke models and the only small thing about it is the price.

Even that doesnt matter.... With this performance (I really doubt the 25hp for Indian version), many would consider this bike at 1.5L.

The weight difference will make this bike a rocket....

I really beleive Bajaj... It will be 25hp in India too...
While this goin round... my svc manager here says a new Fastest Indian is soon coming from Bajaj...

Specs Page updated - no BHP details now

Looks like KTM heard our anxiety and confusion
They updated the page and omitted the BHP details

Sure now it is tuned\de-tuned as per location

The only thing they need to do now to sell this bike over the CBR is price it 1k less than the NON ABS version and start dishing out Test rides.

                          Perspective buyer Test Rides.
                          Perspective buyer loves the ride.
                          Perspective buyer buys the ride.

But knowing BAL, they will price it about 20k less. And when the sales pick up, they will slowly and silently keep on raising prices.

When the previous 'Fastest Indian' was launched back in 2009, it was priced EXACTY 1k less than Karizma R. Just look at the sales numbers and prices now.

Ironically, Another advantage it has over the 'Plastic bikes' is the lack of the Full fairing. Maybe.. just maybe, the college going kids these days may have a bit less of a hard time in convincing their parents into buying one of these for them as these are not 'Racer' bikes AND cc is also less
