Just for the record: The 800 cc Suzuki Intruder M800 that has been recently launched in India comes with rear drum brakes.

OMG !! never knew this. any specific reason for that ?

and maybe bajaj wants to surprise everyone and thats why they are fooling everybody by road testing pulsar twins and the riders have specific instructions not to do high speed runs on highway, just to hide the fact that it is a 300.

am i daydreaming or wishful thinking..?

btw, riding position looks similar to KTM, too much KTM influence huh...

          Thats seems to be..

The footpegs are rear-set for that sporty feel, and the handlebars are upright and comfortable. My 30 Plus spine will love it.

If it was a 300cc motorcycle, it would have gone way faster than the photographer. Seems difficult. Must not be more than 220cc.

The handlebars have been risen so that they don't hit the big tank when they turn in. FZ has recesses in the tank. This has to do without it.

We can see the sharp tank scoops like the XCD135. And I still feel that the bike is quite high!

            • just a thought -

more height of bike means - some compromise in handling ??

Mostly. The increase in height changes the bike's center of gravity which inturn affects the handling.

I was going to say this a few days ago. But then some people didnt like "speculations"
I too think they have stopped 220.
So what im lookin at imo is a P200, P150 and a P180. a KTM Duke
And a 250 Pulsar by the end of this year.
                  Sounds feasible?

As the guy showed 3 fingers, when asked about the Cc, I don't think he said its 300Cc, but there is a chance that he said, there is "3" bikes testing. I.e, 135, 150 and 180 ?
                  Or
There is a chance that he said, "its a 1"3"5 Cc. i.e, 135cc..!

                  What ya think?
When he showed three fingers, how many fingers remained in his hand? :P

But a pulsar is not a cruiser, lets have the drums on avengers

It's not height of the bike that determines handling, it's CG.. by the looks of it even the exhaust is placed in such a way(to achieve mass centralization) so that it boosts bike's handling, by all means it will be a sharp handling machine.

                      • except p135 other pulsars were never good at corners.it's time that they hopefully made a corner-lover pulsar.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                        #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

being a proud owner of the p135, I can vouch for it. prior to buying my p135 I used to hear a lot of nonsense stuff (mostly from ones who have never owned one) like pulsars are unreliable, the engine loses it punch after 2 years, pulsars handle bad. but my ownership experience so far has been awesome. my p135 is a gem and I am an extremely satisfied owner.

the p135 has already demonstrated in a small way what the future of Pulsar would be like. after developing a bike like the 200 Duke with KTM, the new pulsars would be nothing short of awesome. looks like its time for me to upgrade to the next level.

Yea. P135 was a intro to what comes next...!
Clearly many things are common in spied Pulsar.

                            Now my hopes are new P150, P180 and P200. . .!

                            • the new Pulsar seems to have a different type of frame like a trellis frame. reason - the engine seems to be hanging rather than sitting on a normal frame. also with the new pulsar sharing quite a lot of parts with the 200 Duke, a trellis like frame is very much possible.
