Leave all of the new visual 'Improvements' aside, have they done something about those vibes?

Saw one today...green black combo... The pitols are bloody awesum but headlight is too high...the tank shrouds ar just ugly, rear seat is so low....cheap looking graphics.... The most disappointing facts are the tires... Why the hell cant this company provide decent tyres...nonsense... Design is all wrong. Messed up bike. Modified tvs flame...

Perhaps if they could focus on "sticking it to the ground" with the suspension setup, instead of "flying in the wind" with the "Aerodynamics" crap, i wouldve been more interested.
you are right!they havent done any tweaks in performance nor handling...and i strongly think the so called "AERODYNAMICS" is a marketing strategy!

they made the engine scoop look ugly for that 10 degree reduction in engine temperature? LAME
TVS Velocity looked good, atleast they would have released it in the label of RTR series..

After watching the marketing video it seems TVS are taking a leaf out of Mahindra's XUV design philosophy!

According to me, from the pics, the tail should have been shortened if they wanted to design a bike without compromise. It's too long for the wheelbase of the bike and detracts from the weight forward stance making the bike look confused. Function of pillion space screwing up the design proportions. tank shrouds do seem a bit overdosed from the pictures but will save my opinion towards them for an in-flesh look. Plus if the marketing literature is right, a 10 degree reduction in engine heat is commendable. Side profile obviously gives out the most prominent of visible flaws: Headlamp unit placed too high. Again there could be reasons for this. Waiting to see this on the road then.

Just saw a rtr 160 green and black, except for that XXL sized tank extension it looked better overall. Even with a big rider it didn't seem that small. If tvs could do something about the tank extensions this bike looks way better than old ones IMO.

Their marketing head is some guy called H.S.Goindi. I want to personally meat him and tell them that making this kind of ads is like digging you own grave. What the hell were they even thinking? Were they on drugs during work hours?

They have the best R&D team and the worst marketing team.
Don't be so hard on the Marketing dept. They can only do so much with the product that has been handed over to them (by R&D). With the earlier RTR's they had done full juctice (Newton laws TV Ad, Racing DNA TV Ad).

IMO apache velocity design was way better than this. Although new series is modelled on velocity lines it didnt come out that oogd, but EOD thumbs up for pilot lamps
I'm sorry if you feel that way, but i honestly think so because of the cruiser, moto cross, street fighter and a few other concepts they have showcased, they also introduced loads of other technologies like some mileage increasing technology which pollutes less and also a hybrid scooter, lets not forget the jive...
They have also created a successful(?) liquid cooling four valve engine(toromax)...

When it comes to the matter of converting concepts to reality, i think that decision lies in the hands of the management.
