Since they have already made the RTR250fx,400fx and450fx for the track Is there any chance of them trying to quickly bring a street homologated version of the 250fx engine in an apache in the coming months???considering that the new upgraded 2012 series didn't go down that well with bikers(TVS was definitely expecting people to go gaga over their new series RTR considering the overconfidence of their marketing campaign).

How do i know this? - Well they are currently developing an all new aluminium swingarm possibly with a monoshock. Why aluminium? for lesser flex and weight while cornering.

And what are the reference bikes? - CBR 250, KTM duke and the venerable R15v2.0.

All this says that the current facelift was to buy them some time.
    cheers!

Yesterday I saw one 2012 RTR 160 in taxi color(black+yellow) in flesh on pune roads. Was looking very ugly & disproportionate. RTR has really lost its character.

considering that they have not released anything new in the market since the 180 ABS 2 years ago, it was high time to upgrade to something 200+
now people like me, who are interested in moving up the CC ladder but wanting to stay with Apache, have to look elsewhere.
i personally hate the new side profile. the Scarily fast bike looks Scarily similar to the pulsar series , atleast when viewed from the side...
