With a most liberal usage of words, Id say the bike looks cool, edgy and wild; never beastly, demonic, muscular, ripped or scary.......their marketing team is a bunch of alcoholics!!!
    +1000
Their marketing head is some guy called H.S.Goindi. I want to personally meat him and tell them that making this kind of ads is like digging you own grave. What the hell were they even thinking? Were they on drugs during work hours?
They have the best R&D team and the worst marketing team.

Is it just me or others too think the same?
Looks more like a road-side souped-up variant of the apache I always had a crush (but never put my money on a TVS) on the apaches, but the first pic (right side pic) made me squirm after all the loud noise. I accept that I mustnt critique and that the designers spend a lot of effort in doing even minor upgrades - but this is ridiculous! The two cello-tape like lines are not even parallel! pls dont say it is a design element!!!

"Demonic split grabrails reminds the competition to keep away"

I hope the people buying into this 'angry beast' bullshit dont race around on the streets at night with only their pilot lamps on.

"The new rtr 180 is for the purest racer", "Are you racer enough?"

TVS: Yeah, you better be the purest racer to tame this 'beast' or it'll destroy you.

Me: uhh, ok....I'll just go practice on a R1 or something till I become pure enough for this rtr 180.

"The new RTR 180 ABS......is armed to the teeth with ABS technology"

TVS: Hell yea, even the engine runs on ABS!

"RTR 180 ABS.....Absolute fury with absolute control"????

I want a job on the marketing team at TVS.....I can also let out oxymoron scented fart.

Nice video, except for the marketing trash. Keep it real TVS. I guess with things heating up in the game, they overcompensated for the not too newness of teh product with this kind of marketing.

Had a chance to take a close look at the new rtr 180. I think they changed the propoertions of the bike to make it look bigger and 'muscular' and 'macho',. like the competition. Whats wrong with being bruce lee?

But I'll say I like it. Looks very nice if you dont look at it thru comparison tinted glasses.

Finish at the edges of the 'carbon fibre' bit on the tank was bad. Also a bit unsightly was the overdose of 'carbon fibre'. New console design looked good but there was too much carbon fibre around it.

The lower black coloured tailpiece below the taillight also kind of looked bad. But the new protruded rear mudguard top looks awesoem.

Worst was the supposed indian flag next to the rtr180 sticker on the tail. Total insult to both the idea and the indian flag. Wouldnt have been half bad if they had just put a blue chakra in the centre. This kind of stylised interpretation of the indian flag is in bad taste, atleast IMO.

Disliked the silvery circuity kind of graphics on the white and black 180s. Color matching for the same stickering on the hyper edge was worlds better. Loved all the hyper edge colours to bits. Cant say the same for the BnW 180s.

Overall stance and beefing up of the bike looks good IMO. But the tradeoff is the exhaust looks tiny now.

I think only one thing was needed to keep it away from the disco looks and that was a convex top for the windshield\visor\whatever that thing is, ala the previous rtr, instead of its currently concave top design. TVS can still implement it to give teh bike its own character.

Doesn't look like. Still lots of space between the headlight fairing & tank flap. This is just a design element nothing else.
