How do i know this? - Well they are currently developing an all new aluminium swingarm possibly with a monoshock. Why aluminium? for lesser flex and weight while cornering.

And what are the reference bikes? - CBR 250, KTM duke and the venerable R15v2.0.

All this says that the current facelift was to buy them some time.
    cheers!
if i go by your words, then TVS gonna have a winner in their stable though we still don't know how true is this & how much time it'll take.

If they actually pull it off and do get inspired by the list mentioned here , within a year at most . That would really be a quarter litre to look forward to .

cmon tvs show us super fast design to production cycle.

That loss is because of 110 rear tire.
By the way are the new tires tubeless as 180 ?

Been There Done That! Test ride rtr 160 today. I do feel some internal changes happened in the engine. I can say that it is not good old rtr anymore(only the name rtr)

People if you are going to buy only for that led strip on head lamp GO AHEAD!
You guys will like the led strip when it gets darker .

Ps: It's not that scarily fast

+1 to that. I was totally awestruck when I saw the bike in flesh(the original apache). It stood apart in terms of looks. I've heard about the engine being good too. Never ridden one. The RTR had the right character for its name(Apache).

BTW is TVS giving the new bike test ride in chennai?

    ^^nicely written,
i was once a proud owner of a fiero and while talking about performance ,the bike was way ahead of its competition. it was missing nothing but only a fifth gear.
even first gen pulsars(esp 150) were no match for them.

Just think what it would have been with a disc, 5-speeder and a proper chassis. It would have been a bigger revolution than the cbz and would have held it's ground even against the first pulsars pretty well.
