      • Yes yes yes!! The description seems to resemble Velocity concept. But again, there's no proof (atleast a pic) for the news/rumour.

i am OK with the styling the old Apache was even better. I loved the Grey color Apache RTR 160 hyper edge.

Right now i am going for black Grey color combination.

                    • Apache rtr

Got the NEW Beast 2012 Apache RTR Black on Grey.
The bike is OK for my height (5ft 4in).

Initial observations that I have found in the bike after riding 400 km

1 The looks are not bad at all. I love my bike. The New led light is very good looking at night.
                      2. Bike has less vibration, compared to the older RTR's. It’s very smooth till 50kmph, Vibrations start from 51-57, then the bike has no vibration from there which is quite good.
                      3. Handling is great. Love the RTR exhaust sound.
                      4. Yet to check the mileage, fuel has not drained to reserve.
                      5. The new Engine guard is very bad, just cosmetic no use at all.
                      6. Engine gets heated very soon when u are travel for at least 10kms. Is this an issue.???

Try to maintain 4krpm not necessarily 50kmph(this is for those bikes where theres no RPM/Tacho meter) Dont ride at constant speed and try to avoid pillion so that it doesnt stress the engine. Change engine oil @300/500 km before first service. Any additional queries post it in 180 ownership thread
Take care of the bike it will take you to places happily

No..its not an issue..as your bike is new as of now & engine is in its run-in phase,so its dispatching more heat..After a service or max two, temperature will come down..
