  • So there will be two models(250 & 300) with the same look or only one model with 300cc. I read it somewhere like that...

    • Seeing that junta now considers the current 2012 Ninja 250 as way overpriced (in the light of CBR250 & the Duke 200), it is quite possible that Bajaj now launches only the 300 keeping the same price point. That differentiates enough from CBR250R (more horses!) and we dont have some category of learning motorcycles to be kept under 250 cc only.

One good example Bajaj can still keep the same prices is the 650R. They could manage to keep it low didnt they?

      Edit: YAY! My first post!!

Absolutely, this is what I was thinking today when riding to office. Also Kawasaki will need something to counter the KTM 350 or 390, when launched.

LOL!!! I am a UBER LORD SITH LURKER!

On a more serious note - 2004/05 was when I sold my beloved RD350 and a very clean kept Shogun (both of which I regret heavily) and then it was a biking hiatus in the US. Now I am back to India and cant wait to jump on a Motorcycle saddle soon enough! Research on the New 2013 Ninjas got me back here!

                    Fellow xbhpians...

What do you think should we wait for the pulsar 375(launch expected by mid 2013)with more power, top speed, service centres at a relatively lower price should be less than two lakhs or go for the new Ninja 250r at a higher price ,lower power and svc.
                    Pls share your opinions
                    Thank you.

                      • Ok, so I'm a lil confused. I thought Kawasaki were increasing the size of the 2013 model to 300cc - Kawasaki ??
Is it me or do they look really similar??? Or are these completely diff models?

There are two variants now, the 300cc and 250 one also gets revised. Not sure which one our market will see.

                              • I was a Kawasaki fan long before I learnt to ride. I have never used a bike above my 111cc
My faithful Caliber 115 will complete 10yrs and 125000kms in March. My heart is completely sold on the Green Ninja and I would like to know from all current owners if I can really use this for my daily commute. My daily drive is 50kms/day with about 24kms of highway riding.

Can I expect the same long term reliability and comfort from the Ninja? Also, I am a DIY person and do not like to visit the SC. Can a good knowledgeable mechanic help me maintain this one?
