Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

I called up pro biking showing an interest in the current ninja and asked the person about the 2013 model. As per him the 2013 model would be launched only after April, 2013.

Now I'm not sure if this was an honest answer or an attempt made to clear out the existing stock. What do you guys think?

            • Kawasaki to Soon Launch Ninja 300R & Ninja 400R

We reported in detail when Japanese motorcycle maker Kawasaki launched the new edition of the popular Ninja 250R quarter litre sports bike. Now, the bike manufacturer is planning to come up with the 2013 Ninja 300R and the Ninja 400R. Both the upcoming bikes sport twin cylinder engine layout and as the names show, the 300R & 400R have engine capacity of 299cc & 399cc respectively. These bikes should debut as soon as in early 2013. The Ninja 300R will be seen pumping out 39 Bhp @11,000 rpm and will also have more torque than the best selling Ninja 250R. The 400R will offer 43 Bhp at as low as 9,500 rpm. Rumors are also doing rounds that the 300R could replace the 250 in the US market. As reflected by the power figures, the Ninja 300R will have a peaky power output and hence, might be a track focussed sportsbike. The 400R though, in all probability, will play a baby sister to the Ninja 650R sports tourer.
The Ninja 300R & 400R will open gates to an all new segment of performance bikes and the new bikes will act as a good bridge between the 250s and the 650s. Better times coming in for bike aficionados. We so wish the new Ninjas come to us. Are you listening Bajaj?

So if it comes true in the Indian senario, then consider the choices that we will have:-
                200CC - NS and Duke
                220CC -p220F
250CC - Ninja, Honda CBR, Hyosung
                300CC - Ninja
                350CC - New gen Pulsar, and Duke350
                400CC - Ninja

Guess the burden will be on us to make the correct choice.

                      • Well I'll only believe it once it comes out officially from Kawasaki. Although it's mouth watering to just to dream about a Ninja 300/400, I'll start fantasizing only after it becomes official.

Till then it's a certain upcoming 250 kwacker that's got me hooked...

                          • There is a site called 'autosmaxabout.com' - it shows a price of 2.90 lacs. But personally i think the ABS version will be somewhere around 3.40 to 3.60 lacs. Although, this is my personal belief. I will pray to the 'God of Speeds' the price will be less than this.

That's the most useless/senseless/baseless site out there.
