    I still wonder on what basis would they price the 300 at 3.5 lakhs ex showroom mumbai. This would mean a price increase of 58K on the price of the 250 whereas Internationally the price increase has been around $500. I may be wrong in this calculation but jus sharing my thought here.

    Call Mr. Sambhi at KTM Lajpat Nagar, 01129830002. He has more info.
    Acc. to him confirmed exshowroom price is Rs. 3.5 lacs.
    Book your bike there if u want.

    Got a text from KTM Indiraganar today that Ninja 300 bookings have opened. Only mentions a contact number for details, doesn't say how much it would cost.

    I called KTM Vasant Kunj and KTM Connaught Place, Delhi. Both are premium KTM showrooms. However, KTM VJ says that Ninja 300 would retail over 4 lakhs on road while KTM CP says that the ex-showroom price of 3.5lakhs is confirmed (which should make on road price of around 3.9 lakhs I guess). Don't know whom to believe!

    I agree with that. This has been based mostly on the ZX series, like the styling from ZX6R, the headlamp design from ZX10R, dual throttle valves, etc.
