Why would they not include ABS?

I was also not impressed by the pricing but the logic I got was that the Ninja 650 is way underpriced considering weaken rupee vs dollar and is bound to go up very soon.

Bajaj was absorbing the price uptill now but will pass on the burden on the customers.

Do they have the Special edition paint scheme available? Or just the plain Green one? Also any info about whether ABS version is available?

Duke 390 and duke 375 are the same. 390 is the bike branding(just to keep it consistent with 690, 990 etc. Although I am not sure why the 200 duke was not called 190 ? may be to massage the Indian ego ) . 375 is the engine capacity. I though everyone knows it

Also it will complete the probiking lineup as follows:
    1) Mini Duke (Duke 180)
    2) Duke 200
    3) RC 25 (250 cc Faired)
    4) Ninja 300
    5) Duke 375
    6) Ninja 650
    7) RC 8

Bajaj should bring 300 here. The current buyers of Ninja are buying it because it is a Ninja. They'd buy it even if it's priced 50K more. In fact, when they're already paying that much, they'd be happy to pay a bit more and get the best one, rather than spending 3L and ending up with the inferior version. That's what I'd do anyway(If I get some cash out of nowhere i.e ). Others will end up buying a ceeber as usual. However, I feel Bajaj'll do what diablo said.

I don't expect the 300 to be priced at the same rate as the 250, (there would be atleast 50k difference or more). I just have a feeling that the gap between a 250 and 650 is simply too big and an intermediate between the two would be better for the customers. Because the competition is heating up in the 250-600 cc category (read Duke 390, Pulsar 375/350, Mojo ???). If Kawasaki are going to choose to stay out of the race like Yamaha , then so be it. I would just be disappointed that a bike like the N300 couldn't come to India.
