to an extent true but just putting a faring will not make bike go faster, it should be properly [aero-dynamically] designed, other wise its like diwali rocket ..it will surge but harder to control.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View Post

Comparing R15 and P180, Both are with equal power. Here, R15 can do 140+ easily but Pulsar barely does 130. If you put R15 fairing on pulsar, it easily touches 145+ ( - experiece of a senior member who did that job)
. A difference of 15+ kmph ?? !!!!! Holy crap. Never knew that. Some knowledge I got today.
Any ways, but the fairing doesnt look as sharp as R15.Rather, tourer type(Fazer type). I guess Bajaj has deliberately leaked these, to keep us interested.... Now come on, make some announcements- Dates or Specs...HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3

wow, finally some news about P375, its good that it is fully faired...
the spy pics shows that these are in very initial stage of design...
hopefully it will come with Fi & ABS, and a top speed of somewhere in the region of 160-170 kmph is good enough for indian roads, too high top speed will make the bike less rideable in slow speeds or with-in city.

^^ this page talks about the projectors lamps being HID's, now if that can be true....it will be wonderful.
the front end of bike looks a bit weird to me, the headlights being positioned too low. and i want a riding stance like a CBR and not like P200NS.
btw, i have to purchase a bike by January end or in February, can someone tell me the expected launch date. i have been waiting for P375 since long, and now i have finalized CBR250 C-ABS. mods plz tell me....anybody....maybe satyen...anybody about speculated launch date...?? and price??

You can happily go ahead with your purchase, I don't think Bajaj is going to launch this in the next six months. Perhaps you can expect this in third quarter of this year.Originally posted by princesirohi View Postwow, finally some news about P375, its good that it is fully faired...

TBH I'd be happier with the same fairing and lighting appearing on a KTM Derived 125cc or 150cc block based engine. I consider Indian roads too dangerous for speeds this bike is capable of anyway, and a lower displacement version would also be better in fuel efficiency.Currently without a vehicle. Uber App and Bangalore Metro serving all my travel needs.

I don't understand why people worry about Indian roads all the time! in fact they are in pretty good condition and getting better year on year! it's the people that are causing accidents due to lack of road sense.Originally posted by MHG View PostTBH I'd be happier with the same fairing and lighting appearing on a KTM Derived 125cc or 150cc block based engine. A Ninja 250cc with 33Bhp does 170 then why can't a 350cc and with38-40Bhp won't do even 10km more and do 180Kmph. Just because its an Indian brand???
Infact we should be proud to get something like this made in India.
Lol, Ninja 250 doing 170? The true top speed of a N250 is around 150~155 km/hr, when I mean true top speed, I mean the one that is measured using a GPS system/radar gun, not the ones on the speedo. Surely, it will put up 170 or more on the speedo but that's not exactly how fast you're going. Also I was referring to stock 250s not modified ones.Originally posted by harsh_66328 View PostExactly,It will easily do 180kmph. I don't see the why it wont have FI. Why would bajaj put a carb on a 375cc engine. It would be their top of the line bike. And it would definitely also have ABS(maybe as an option). Its understandable to put a carb and no ABS on the NS as it is aimed for the masses and hence has to be priced low.
Neither I see the model and the color schemes found in the pics to be the final product. But it does look in the final stages of completion now.
Are you sure about the 40+ PS for pulsar? I haven't seen any specifications of the 375 yet.Originally posted by antz.bin View PostSo the 33 Ps Ninja would go as fast as a ~40-44 Ps Pulsar (both full faired) just because the Ninja is twin cylinder and Pulsar has a single cylinder?Last edited by Ezilkannan; 01-15-2013, 09:45 AM.2013 R15(Sold) | 2014 Duke 390 (Sold) | 2022 Adv 390 | 2022 Ninja 300

Are you serious? Please visit Mumbai once. Atleast try riding at good speeds on the Western Express Highway.Originally posted by vrugonnab View PostI don't understand why people worry about Indian roads all the time! in fact they are in pretty good condition and getting better year on year! it's the people that are causing accidents due to lack of road sense.

top speeds are a big topic for debate, and tru top speeds is an even bigger topic for debate, so lets focus on P375.even if top speeds need to be discussed, lets discuss only speedo indicated top speed, coz very few ppl actually have the instruments to accurately measure true top speed.
EDIT: any speculated launch date/month..?? and speculated price..??Last edited by princesirohi; 01-15-2013, 02:57 PM.

OK first, I don't know which part of India you mention, but I'd definitely like to visit it sometime.Originally posted by vrugonnab View PostI don't understand why people worry about Indian roads all the time! in fact they are in pretty good condition and getting better year on year! it's the people that are causing accidents due to lack of road sense.
And when I say roads are dangerous, I don't mean just the horrible condition of the roads. I am also including the zilch road sense of the mango man and the mango driver. If I earned a dollar each time I came across an idiotic jaywalker, a driver who doesn't understand lane discipline, a biker who thinks he is playing road rash, bunch of other people who treat the road in general as some kind of video game where they'll respawn if they crash, those who believe traffic lights are meant to decorate junctions, noobs cutting across where they shouldn't be and last but definitely not the least, politicians who behave like they and their convoys own the road, I'll be a millionaire. And I'll use those million dollars to relocate to some place where I can ride without wondering if I'll be alive after a few hours each time I place my posterior on the saddle.
