        The fairing does look unannily similar - but look at the proportions - this bike is so well proportioned and the handlebars vs fairing is well positioned unlike the one in the leaked pics

              ha ha... bikes and fantasies do not have emergency brakes....but seriously, i think this bike will be worth the wait....at the same time, i think it is atleast 6 months away. BAL, plz give it a 17 ltr fuel tank ...and guys did you see an aluminium frame in one of those pics..??

                There are two directions in which this design can go.

                1- Keep the P200 NS high handlebars and raise the fairing to make a proper tourer.

                2-Lower the handle to make it a supersport position like Hyosung GT250 and Yamaha R15.

                Check these two images. The lower handles need to be clip-ons like the Energica.

                  i think it will be option 1, because bajaj is known to give all rounder kind of bikes, so it is highly unlikely they will make this a purely sports bike. that said, the rider posture will still be more sportier than NS somewhere around CBR250.. world over designers are doing that. even the CBR500 does not have a pure sports bike rider stance. one more theory to support option -1 is that currently there is very less gap between fairing and front tyre.

                    I hope you are talking only about softcore sportsbikes. And not about the hardcore Race Replicas.

                        Couple of observations...

                        -> The various cuts and creases on the fairing looks good and never seen on Bajaj bikes so far. I mean styling is sharp and very focused.
                        -> The matt finish on the body definitely looks better the gloss finish. Not sure if it will really look that good in flesh also.
                        -> The front wheel has the ABS ring, so it should be available as atleast an option.
                        -> The scoop pic even has a name plate on it, does it mean its design has been freezed and very near for production?

But given the fact that the 200NS was a blatant copy of the Honda CB1000R (Except for a couple of minor changes), which BAL pulled off really well. I have no doubt that BAL will blatantly copy this design too. They certainly have chosen a good design for their baseplate, now hopefully, they'll make a decent job of localizing this design. Good for us

                            The bike in the pic is not the Energica bike for sure. Need to look closer at every details. But the design is definitely inspired by that bike.

                              I have recently came up with this image of upcoming Pulsar 375 on net.

                              ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

                              This image reminds me of the Yam YZF R1 2009 Model. The upper half with the projectors looks almost exactly same as the R1 with this color scheme.

                                May be similar to Yamaha..but i guess...the final output from the company (on release) shall resemble with Ducati.....
