Same happened with the Suzuki SV1000 globally.A handle lowering kit was introduced. It helped a lot to help the sales of this motorcycle. We need something similar.A handle lowering kit.Maybe someone can start a business of the same.
You guys can google SV1000 lowering kit and Convertibars.
Thats a good idea by Suzuki.. but if BAL provides this kit as an option at the time of purchase.. it might even increase the sales figures as the customer don't have to spend anything extra.. Not sure if this makes sense..

Well, Practically what you are saying is correct.. but have you noticed in Baby Ninja it doesn't have a grab rail.. but when you are ready to change the handle bar the way you like.. i guess you can do the same for the grab rail by the way.. an after sale handle bar is not going to give you a perfect solution.. This is what I felt and this is purely my opinion..

hope bajaj keeps the power ratings atleast same as dk390.or tune the engine properly.those added fairings are sure to increase weight.fairings a look just a little overdone.
does anyone else think the matte black looks just hot on the bike?!they should go ahead and release a matte finish with min decals.call it night rider edition or something.

nitrosatya : not only that, the handle bars are also quite wide.

regarding grab rails, there are two possibilities, either it will be added later on or it has integrated grab rails, i.e. scoops below the pillion seat to hold onto.

the power figures will not be same as Duke 390, but a bit lower, probably in the range of 37-40 bhp, as they will most probably detune the engine with a slightly lower compression ratio and slighlty taller gearing, not to mention, the cylinder head will be 3 spark one .

infact it will be interesting to see whether they go for a DOHC set-up or a SOHC one. DOHC + 3 spark plugs will be a bit too complex. isn't it.

I think this colour might be an option among other colour choices at the time of actual production.. Won't it?

This bike should be in the last stages of development already and might not change a lot when the end-user gets it including the colour. I'm guessing so..

Is that possible?

see a hyosung, that is how a properly proportioned bike should look like from front. the front windshield should come upto some height to give effective wind protection. also see the handle bars, on a sports bike, the handle bars should be a bit sloping downwards and not flat and parallel to ground .

This is a bit misleading!
You can see the rear seat/rear end of the pulsar, its taken from a higher point/perspective, while the GT is taken much lower than that. This perspective imbalance between the photos is amplifying the difference!

Your points are right though.

Power difference b/w 200NS a carburetted bike and D200 was about 1.5 HP

IF P375 is FI how much difference we should expect?
Here p375 is a faired bike so there will be less product conflict as well, I believe.
I may sound optimistic but I am expecting a 40 as minimum. and an added 10kmph on top speed compared to D390.

Oh. Thats pretty much matching N300 at half the price (or lower?!)

yes i know that, angle is different, but its very difficult to find two bikes clicked from exact same angle. anyway you got the point.

regarding power difference, its not a carb vs FI debate, the thing is bajaj will try to make it slightly less fuel consuming bike and it will try to make it more friendly to commonly available fuel (octane number) so P375 i guess will have a slightly less compression ratio as compared to duke 390. and then add bajaj customized head with 3 spark plugs and SOHC (not yet confirmed), so i guess it will be less than 40 bhp, ofcourse the more the merrier...

Sportive position depends not only on the handle bar height but also the distance from handle bar to seating, tank size, and the foot peg angle, etc.

The only information that can sportive stance or not is the seating angle. I believe Bajaj will make it more like CBR250..

Remember Bajaj is building bikes for a long time and they have collaboration with the two of the best manufacturer in the world.

All we have here is just a set of SPY pictures which might be taken with some obscure angle. Have a little faith in Bajaj...

I don't personally think that P375 will match with the power figures of D390 like the 200NS did with the D200. But even if it does give 40HP like the Ninja, I would still prefer the Ninja than the Pulsar. I might sound crazy, but that's what I'll prefer.

After market grab rails!! Not possible unless you made cut in the rear cowl. My friend had tried on his R15.
The Handle bar quality wont be a matter of concern. There are many good quality available in the market.

If the Pulsar is priced at even 2 Lakh rupees, it should be worth the money(I hope it is atleast at par with the CBR). Even if its as VFM like the CBR, I still believe that N300 is worth every penny. Yes it costs nearly double the price, but its absolutely worth it. But frankly I think its best to wait till the product comes out before comparing it with the Ninja.

I can very much understand what you mean, That is why N300 is here in our market , where, 40-50HP bikes will soon crowd !
Of course N300 is in a different league.

But P375 must be for the other type of enthusiasts. Those want power, but they dont want their trousers tear apart because of the way the power is delivered. Our per capita is still very low.
so very warm environment for P375 to grow.

It will be great if they continue their commitments to improve quality. Most of us are ready to pay 15/20 k more for better quality control.

I have seen them improving. Every day. I have faith.
