I have no doubt that BAL will blatantly copy this design too. They certainly have chosen a good design for their baseplate, now hopefully, they'll make a decent job of localizing this design. Good for us
Looks like you know nothing *sir*
200NS is no way similar to CB1000R. Get your eyes checked. LOL

Yes but if you look at the overall front fairing its only got certain lines and design cues only which by the way is what i think all manufactures think while designing a modern european naked themed motorcycle. Beside i don't think the designers at BAL deserves the copycat image because if you look at the earlier mentioned european design theme, i say its true origins go to MV augusta's Brutale series of naked bikes designed by the great Massimo Tamburini. The brutale design when struck gold was also taken up by the so called genuine in design japanese companies (actually by their designing agencies) like yamaha and suzuki and thereby leading to designs like the NAKED fz1,suzuki gsr 600,gladius etc although i must add that honda and kawasaki copied only the basic theme . My point is, i think copy paste happens at a base level of designing only with the basic targeted theme. And after that the real designing begins. Afterall the NS is mainly the work done by Edgar heinnrich and remember he was asked to re pen the pulsar infusing it with current prevailing streetfighter design theme so as to update the design theme from the original classic and semi classic naked to the next level ie the modern naked theme .BAL could have only given the basic elements of the Pulsar design theme so as to keep it up linked with the original design lie that it came with. i say the design is nothing short of amazement and puts the NS as the real LORD of the STREET.

Of course not, its not a copy, its just an "inspired" design..

Look at the pictures below, can anyone tell that its a copy? No, NS is the real LORD of the STREET like Dman says.. Lol

Seriously? Just because you seem to have it and love it?

Who cares if the overall design cues matches the looks of something big that already exists. As long as it looks good and runs great, its perfect.

There's no need to kill each other over it. Most of the earlier Pulsars had similarities to some other Suzuki motorcycle. Specially the tail portion.

OK, even though its copied, what is the fuzz about? Its the best designed bike under 1 Lac. No one is complaining about that. Be happy, that we are getting these designs in India. Honda is not going to get their CB Any time soon. So enjoy it as a baby CB200 (From Bajaj). Bajaj fulfilling biking fantacies of Indian youth. So just chill.

Your opinion doesn't become fact, better come to terms with that. It's clear you can't compare properly. Do us a favor, compare the pics posted by you and tell us some differences and then see if they are significant enough to differentiate the design.

friends.... fellow bikers... lets stop this... who copied whom.the line between inspiration and copying is a very fine one. as far as i am concerned, i wouldn't mind if any indian manufacturer copied an R1 and give us at affordable price.so lets discuss P375... and P375 only.

Anyone who feels that NS200 is a *blatant* copy of CB1000R, have you guy(s) seen the new Yamaha Bolt? It is, what you would call, a copy or a heavy dose of inspiration from Harley Davidson 883. And nobody in the international media is complaining about it. Infact, the styling of Bolt actually makes it clear who Yamaha (Star Motorcycles) is targeting in the market. So when an established manufacturer like Yamaha can do that, why are we making a big fuss over NS's styling? There's nothing wrong with picking up styling elements from a successful or beautiful motorcycles of other manufacturers as long as the end product is good. I believe we need to be mature when judging motorcycles over styling. I mean I personally wouldn't mind if a new motorcycle picks up styling from an existing motorcycle if it looks good in the end.

And as far as my opinion is concerned, I have seen the pics, other than the slight similarities in the headlight design nothing matches between NS200 and CB1000R. Now you can either continue to crib on or appreciate a good motorcycle like NS or move on with the discussion over the upcoming P375.

The headlight of the Pulsar 200NS is definitely quite similar to the CB1000R.. Apart from that there is no Zilch similarity between the two..

.. maybe one more i.e both run on 17" wheels.
.. one more i.e. both have one seat for the Rider and another for the Pillion
.. what else..?? Maybe Red Color in the color options..??

                                Monoshock..??
