    Why worry about true speed I will be happy with the official top speed. Like for Pulsar 220 its 144Kmph n Karizma is 126Kmph while for R15 its 134Kmph. Although no figures for CBR or Ninja. But Ninja does 170.. so speedometer on 350 would show above 180 with real top speed of maybe around 170Kmph...

      bad roads in & around Mumbai doesn't mean roads in entire India are bad. You need to go around to see how fast the roads are getting better. Let's just say that roads are better now than say 2005, would you agree? of course there are far more vehicles plying on roads today and proportionate number of idiots as well and that's the main problem!

        Guys plz ... leave .. Speed and Roads ....alone. in India both won;t come to any calculations.
        Here Bulluk cart also travels in National highways and super cars also on village roads ... its all water downs to one thing the user.. if he wishes to ride ferrari on off-road or on super highway both works here unlike in other countries

          Like I said before, it won't be 170, more like 160ish. I'm just telling not to speculate on very big numbers. I for one would wait for the bike to be out first, then we can discuss technical aspects of it. But my assumption is that it will most likely be a 36 hp engine(anything higher is surely welcome), and a reasonable top speed of 160. The ride obviously does look good, no doubt about that, and it will be a big leap for Bajaj(distinctly ahead of domestic manufacturers as their logo says) when its launched.

            Coming back to the Pulsar 350/370, i hope they dont make it semi-faired (P220). From the looks of the prototype it seems that Bajaj is inspired by the Ducati 848 & 1199, Yamaha R1 and a small bit of Honda (layered fairing principle)

                Firstly, that's not fairing at all, it's usual bikini fairing for a naked bike. You will find many more closer examples from Kawasaki/Yamaha/Ducati line-ups!

                    That silver colored panel under the eyeball head lamps looks very ugly., Why can't u fill it with regular ABS and paint it in black or body color. of course with a better shape.

                    Bajaj should have tried few more colors in their test bike so that it will look more ugly. (Ok I know u will paint it different at the end , its ok for now.)

                    Now u have not mounted the mirrors. does that means your engineering team have no time for such items and will fix some useless stuff like in 220 at last stage? (Pulsars home city sees very less usage for items like RVM and turn indicators, It will not be a surprice if Bajaj facilittates a showroom detachment of such things for such great show boys ).

                    Tail piece looks really good from top.

                    Please fit some decent 140/150 rubber.
                    Side fairing looks more like a wrap-around a decent motor. Ask your designer to swayback this weekend and dedicate some time to it.(or simply leak a better 3/4 image so that I can pull this one back)

                    It will be nice if some test bikes have no side fairing at all, so that based on upcoming leaked snaps we will start discussing the motor.

                    Forgot to tell you this, please think ten times before deciding the placement of fairing bolts, So that disassembling it will not be as time consuming as designing it. (don't follow 220, ok).

                    It would have looked much better with those USD WPs for that 15k but yeah this will do the job pretty well.

                    Please gear it more like 220 and allow some relaxed ride on top gear.

                    I have seen that a 375 4S single can be more powerful than a 2S twin 350 sometimes, so I don't have much to complain about that. since its going to be FI, I don't expect a detuning. with 44 HP this may seriously argue for singles. I will not be surpriced , if it shows 170 in V-box (its not my problem , if you add a busy short geared box, then you better stick with 155.)

                    At last I won't ask you why 3 plugs why not 4 or 5, I am not the one who thinks anything thats not done by Japanese is waste.

                      check the image properly , there are mirror holders on both side of faring , seems like its production ready model.
                      yeah..and agree with the silver lining below headlight , it kind of look cheap, body color would be good

                              We don't yet have any kind of official announcements regarding that, but if I had to take a wild guess, launch mostly around mid 2013 or Q3, price maybe around 2~2.2 L.

                                What follows is speculation:

                                If the previous launch of the KTM200 / P200NS is anything to go by. We'll first see the KTM390 some time before mid 2013 with deliveries start around mid 2013. The P3xx will follow after mid 2013 with general availability towards the end of the year.

                                Pricing for the KTM will possibly be less than 3L and maybe less than 2.5L. The P3xx will likely be priced around 25K-50K lower than the KTM.
