In one the picture it feels there is some cavity kind of thing just below the rear seat. Not sure what exactly it is but could be the place for grab rails?Originally posted by sambit View PostBut my main concern is, rear grab rail. Without them, the practicality will reduce. Hope bajaj put them in production version. I just cant ignore the pillion.
Looking at the pictures it feels that all the panels are actually different. The tail piece and the side set is definitely different from the one in NSOriginally posted by Satellite.kid View PostNow it seems that other than front/side fairings, every other body panel is same as in NS200.

re: Pulsar 350/375 Spy pics: xBhp News
not a single part is similar or shared with NS expect for fuel cap and clipons
finally a differnt skin pulsar from all the angles ,dono why from the top without the rear no plate it reminds me of baby ninja and side view sort of like aggressive pig
too big or probably the looks will grow on us like the honda's...and dont think its gonna cost less then 2lk atleast....exhaust may be similar to cbr 1000rr IMO

i am just wondering why can't they render better now that almost 75% of the design detail and the entire pic of the p375 has leaked out. Any guy here in xbhp is able to make out the original machine used for this rendering and it can be clearly seen the front mudguard, the wheels, the forks, and discs and finally the exhaust and rear tail section including the rear seat is lifted off straight from that the ninja 650. And as chill buddy said, the fairing is inaccurately in size and rendering also but in overall i appreciate the effort as the fairing is a bit tough to render with all the complex lines, cuts and slashes and which by itself is looking great, and if twin lights are given to a pulsar people say it copied an R1. Why can't appreciate at least for once a genuine INDIAN company's effort instead of still bashing the company and brand by always trying to find fault in Pulsar even if they try to provide the best with their limited resources and and experience unlike the japanese. If you ask me i would say this design will easily be branded as the first FULLY DESI INDIAN MADE AND MADE IN INDIA SPORTS BIKE. I say, resemblance if any. would only be the front fairing part near the headlight units and the way those headlight units are placed in the front reminds of design cues of energica rather than the crossplane R1's and finally the tail section designed in the lines of the present zx10R by a wee bit but still very much different and i must say, the design does stand on its own and at least i am observing the uniqueness of the design and looks beautiful and ready to pounce as usual .But in fact the only eyesore by a bit if you ask me would be the belly fairing unit/ part as it kind of looks less in sync with the overall body lines followed and looks much like an after thought. But, then again this is just an unclear low resolution spy pic of the test prototype . i am also definitely sure that the real machine will look good or considerably even better when it gets unveiled. I would also like to inform you guys that i am also working on a rendering in MS paint. Last year, had also posted my rendered version of the p200ns here when it also came in the spycam's eye. Any way i want to say that, I am proud of pulsar as an INDIAN.Originally posted by Ghost11 View PostThat looks like a disproportionate ninja 650RLast edited by Dman; 05-25-2013, 02:18 AM.

re: Pulsar 350/375 Spy pics: xBhp News
It will not be colorful and highly detailed like ps work like the one above. Mine requires a bit of drawing by hand and ms paint. If everything goes ok i'll present it in a week.work seem to take 3/4th of time and thats why i said it could take a week or so.

Good to read that.I am not buying a Bajaj bike anytime soon after my P220 experience. I will be buying a proper superbike next year. My only interest in this thread is because I want to see an Indian sportsbike succeed and stand up to the Japanese and European domination. I also want to be a proud Indian.Originally posted by Dman View Posti am just wondering why can't they render better now that almost 75% of the design detail......
......I am proud of pulsar as an INDIAN.
But lets look at it from this perspective:
This is year 2013. Indians have access to internet and global media more than before. More and more Indians will be able to access bigger bikes in coming years. They will see for themselves, the present Japanese competition. And it will dawn on them that the homegrown product is not quite looking like their imported counterparts.
WHY?-
Bajaj has got the technology from KTM. They made a brilliant streetbike with that. The P200NS. KTM however has not shared the racing technology of the RC250 Moto 2 racing bike. Bajaj has to carry over the high street bike into the sportsbike. That is where we have an objection. You can't make a sportsbike from a streetbike. Period. If Bajaj wants,we can give them proper suggestions on how we want a sportsbike. But that has never happened. The only way to get their attention is through this forum. And we have to make them aware that they can't sell us an orange and keep us pretending its an apple!
I would be the happiest person when there is a PROPER Indian sportsbike. This is not proper authentic. This is a makeshift sportsbike. Bajaj is compromising somewhere just for sales.
There is still time. Bajaj can still make it better.

*keeping a check on the bulk and weight of the machine
*a little more emphasis has to be laid on parts quality not that they are not improving but they must even more dramatically improve fast
* slight increase in price of spares wont be an issue as far as the component quality improves
* a bit more focused on designing by giving emphasis on factors such as aerodynamics (by starting wind tunnel testing),better ergonomics to make it more rider friendly.( like with elements like a better knee recess to assist him/her while cornering making it a breeze task) and finally ensure compactness.

re: Pulsar 350/375 Spy pics: xBhp News
Its strange and sad to know about Pulsar's reputation. I mean, my Pulsar 180 didn't give me trouble on even long tours. It starts in one crank even in winters. And its a 2007 model. What did I do right that others screwed up? Don't know.
Maybe it was that, I kept same oil brand from start: Castrol. I did run her in well. I do warm her up in the morning by idling for 10-15 seconds. And I screwed her well too: installed K&N, removed it, took her up the ladders, stunted a bit, got Joel's kit installed, removed that too, toured for 570 kms in a day, etc.
The only problem I had was with low parts quality-> that rusted silencer, which resulted in a severe top speed problem. Rusted frame to an extent. But no, it doesn't stop in the middle of nowhere and I don't see Service Centre as often as people describe here.
And, Forget all that, I think the future Pulsars should be judged on the basis of P200 NS' performance & reliability. Everything else before 200 NS is just an irrelevant past.
Bajaj knows we have quality problems with our Pulsars, so I'm sure Bajaj planned it all.
And although I agree with the point raised by Nitrosatya, let's wait for the machine to be launched & tested, then we can say something. They did change the frame from the Duke to NS though, so its possible.---

re: Pulsar 350/375 Spy pics: xBhp News
Its not that all pulsars are bad. There are people using bajaj bikes for more than 5-7 years trouble free. The reputation is bad because, considering other companies(honda, yamaha etc) assume 1 out of 10 bikes face issues, problems, breakdowns but for Bajaj this ratio is high, say 2-3 out of 10 bikes face problems. So the number of issues seen and reported are more than the competitors, hence people think that bajaj bikes are not reliable or have quality issues.Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostIts strange and sad to know about Pulsar's reputation. ...........
