I really would have done a rendering but don't have the tools now. If anyone wants to render the Pulsar 375, he should use the P200NS as base. And sketch on it.

re: Pulsar 350/375 Spy pics: xBhp News
It makes sense for them to get the 200 ns as the base and just change the engine and put a proper sports fairing for the first time.
I am all in for the duke 390 and would love to own it but i do prefer a fully faired version of the bike and for that to be a pulsar would give me a reliable experience .
The above pic looks like a high tech bike and doesnt really look on the lines of the photo showcased by autocarindia and the likes where it is clear that it except for the front 1/3 part, it mostly looks like a 200 ns.

Originally posted by rx100.7050 View PostIf you go & check out my history in XBHP you will find that I was one of the staunch supporter of Pulsar brand. In fact, it is still one of the best machine to have been launched. At that time, Fi, projector headlamps, tubeless tyres, O ring chain etc these were premium in those days. The day 220 was launched, I drooled over that product. My ownership about the bike has been great except recently. Bajaj has completely agreed to forget about the same bike which catapulted it to the sports bike category segment. After the launch of Duke & Ninja, there is nobody to service a P220 Fi & most Fi owners have converted their bike to a carb one. That's the ground reality. So, for me a Hi-Tech Pulsar will never be an option since I know down the line, it's going to get a harsh treatment. Duke & Ninja are very much welcome.
I am trying last bit effort to revive my P220 Fi. It's still got the heart but unfortunately no good doctos are there to attend. Still trying my best to get hold of old doc & spare parts.
The way Bajaj made their best brand an underdog was worrying. They where more business minded than pride oriented.
IF they think Pulsar was not a worthwhile brand to keep it cutting edge (at least neck to neck) with the foreign boys in coming days, they should have started a new brand in its own name for 250+cc bikes.
Create one proper committed mini butcher (I mean a proper track bike) and use it to build reputation.
But the strategy looks different, Bajaj will remain bajaj, the butcher is going to be orange!
Because of this underdog feeling, more serious riders may stay away from the brand, later will result in gradual degradation of pulsar as a brand.
I will say though Bjajs decisions make much business sense in international perspective, They will eventually kill the cult of its best product line.
So can we conclude that, there wont be any completely Indian top end bike even in 2030?

Well, Bajaj never meant Pulsar to be a cutting edge performance bike, it was always supposed to be affordable performance for masses. Proper track or pure, whatever that segment is will be catered by KTM, that's why Bajaj bought into KTM.Originally posted by kochumvk View PostThe way Bajaj made their best brand an underdog was worrying. Rajiv Bajaj has said that Pulsar will be restricted to 400 cc bikes as it might not have acceptance for higher range bikes. They will be coming with higher cc bikes probably after 2016 and that might not be under Pulsar brand.Originally posted by kochumvk View PostThe way Bajaj made their best brand an underdog was worrying. There was no KTM some time back in India. I was expressing my observation. Until they launch D200, Pulsar was their top brand. They neither said they will launch KTM and they have plans to limit Pulsar as a brand for that reason.Originally posted by vrugonnab View PostWell, Bajaj never meant Pulsar to be a cutting edge performance bike, it was always supposed to be affordable performance for masses. Your words makes sense today since Bajaj is trying for commanding stakes on KTM.
However I am following pulsar from its birth.
As somebody else said. Bajaj had time to care Pulsar owners until KTM came into picture.
That is good news! any links? Earlier I have seen some sites quoting him saying Pulsar family will grow all the way till 700cc.Originally posted by s_hari View PostRajiv Bajaj has said that Pulsar will be restricted to 400 cc bikes as it might not have acceptance for higher range bikes. “There are various platforms and a twin cylinder platform under consideration. Essentially we have agreed that almost all KTM motorcycles up to 400cc will be designed and developed in India. That is why the 375cc (Pulsar) is also being done,” adds Bajaj.Source: Business StandardAs per the mutual agreement between Bajaj and KTM, the Indian company will restrict itself from entering the space above 400cc for the time being. However, Bajaj could revisit its strategies over time.
"We see ourselves in terms of relevance not to go too higher because then people won’t buy our products. So up to 400cc, we can build a market. As time passes, naturally we will have to recalibrate to the evolution of the market.
This is the link what i could immediately search for. Will provide others when i find them.

It is safe to say that the first real update we will recieve is when the duke390 will be launched. Based on its pricing you can assume the p375's price. The d390 is due 2nd week of June according to motoroids.Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostGuysss... Any updated news on the P375???
